Could anyone assist me in finding out if Take That are releasing a new live album in November. In the new release schedule section in the chart forum its listed for a November 28th release, i have searched the internet high and low and i can not find anything about the forth coming release. When searching, every web site has information available about the dvd release and have it available for pre order but no mention of the cd.

Could anyone help me with my query?

Im afaraid i cant help as i wondering the same myself and even asked was it definite in the chart thread as i cant find any information on it either, im hoping its true though as i would love naother full live cd album from them.

Hi,

I'm new on here - my name's Michelle.

I've just ordered it from Tesco. That's the only site I can find it on.

It won't let me post a link as it says I have to have 20 posts to post links but it's on the Tesco Entertainment website - not the normal Tesco.com but the actual entertainment one.

Considering its supposidly been released in about 5 weeks time, i thought it would be more conformed or abvailable for pre order etc.

Thank you for this information, i am quite looking forward to purchasing this when it is released.
your not the only one, its no secret im a huge fan of live albums and especially from good live acts such as take that, really looking forward to this and it should be another top 10 or top 5 album for them, the last live album sold over 700,000 which is great for a live album so lets hope this can manage double platnum aswell.

Charlene Soraia - Moonchild

Glee Cast – Glee The Music: Volume 7

Gorillaz – The Singles Collection 2001-2011

Il Divo – Wicked Game

Joe McElderry – Classic Christmas

Kylie Minogue - Aphrodite Les Folies: Live In London

Monica - New Life

Olly Murs – In Case You Didn't Know

Smith And Arrows - Funny Looking Angels

Take That – Progress Live

Now Disney

Thats some of the competition, wow im lucky as been a live album fan i get 2 new live albums on the one day by 2 acts i love, kylie and take that, im sure if take thats live album will go to number 1 but i think olly murs would be there main threat from the above list, number 1 or i cant see the live album selling less than half a million but it will more than likely manage double pltanum, i really like the cover sleeve for the album. Great track listing aswell:

1. 'Rule The World'

2. 'Greatest Day'

3. 'Hold Up A Light
'

4. 'Patience
'

5. 'Shine
'

6. 'Let Me Entertain You
'

7. 'Rock DJ'

8. 'Come Undone'

9.
'Feel
'

10. 'Angels'

11. '
The Flood
'

12. 'SOS
'

13. 'Underground Machine
'

14. 'Kidz
'

15. 'Pretty Things
'

16. 'When They Were Young Medley' (includes 'A Million Love Songs', 'Babe', 'Everything Changes')

17. 'Back For Good
'

18. 'Pray
'

19. 'Love Love'

20. 'Never Forget'

21. 'No Regrets'/'Relight My Fire'

22. 'Eight Letters'

hmm i think olly will go number 1, just hope take that do a performance on x factor to promote it

I agree. The only one that may beat them is Olly Murs or a tiny possibility Kylie but I'd be surprised.

I wonder if they'll leave Rob's swearing in or not?

I dont think there will be any promo for the album but it will still do ok for them, olly is the main threat for number 1, while i would love kylie to go number 1 i cant see it happening, her last live album made number 7 and sold in or around 100,000, so i think her new live album will make the top 10 and possibly sell more as sales are high at the release time.
i do wonder whether they will do x factor??

I really am excited about the live album, it has a strong tracklist and the picture sleeve is fantastic, i hope the picture booklet with the cd itself is also good. I mainly buy my cd;s on line as they are less expensive but for this album i will be visiting my local store on the day of release to purchase it.

I was wondering whether Gary will perform with one of his acts (if of course he has acts in the final) or maybe with TT or Rob

Again i cant see it happening but never say never, if gary does it tulisa and kelly would probably want to do it aswell so what would happen should louis have a finalist?

If gary did though it would be at least some promo for the live album.

From what i can gather, Take That are on a break so i cannot see any promotion carried out by Take that for this release. I think this could also mean 2012 will be a solo year for them all to do their own thing, eg gary solo album, x factor etc and mark now rumoured to be a judge on the voice, maybe towards the end of 2012 they will come together and start on a new album. To keep fans happy i would not be shocked to see a new greatest hits coming out this time next year.

I hope they stay away from a Greatest Hits as that should only be looked at if they are thinking about calling it a day. Take Westlife for example, yeah their sales were poor for the last 3 years but they were saying that once the GH comes into discussion its natural to draw a line under it and try something new. I hope this isnt true, as much as id like to hear a gary solo album i would not want it to become a catalyst for them to do their own thing. I can't see mark releasing an album though, as it wouldn't have the sales or the chart position as an album from gary or rob. Just hope they remember what happened after TT split and use that experience to keep together, why risk the biggest comeback in UK chart history for the sake of a couple of solo albums that wouldnt sell anywhere near what TT can sell as a 4/5

oh and ndubz are releasing a greatest hits funnily enough on the same day as the progress live album, another example of how a greatest hits means the end of an act for the foreseeable future.

Westlife did release a greatest hits a few years ago and they did not split so i do not take it as a certainty that it would mean they are splitting. Gary did say that Take That are on a break and that does not mean the impending split is on the way. My reasoning would be a greatest hits would be used as a filler why the men take a well deserved break. Additionally, the record company know Take That can sell albums so they may think of releasing one to cash in on the lucrative christmas market next year, as the live album is whats used this year as there is no new studio album. However, i think it is the DVD that is going to do the real business this year, although im wondering (not doubting) will it match the huge huge success of the circus live dvd, a side of me thinks it will as all the robbie fans will buy it aswell as he has his solo section.

I wonder is their more money as in profit to me made from a a big selling dvd or album?
