Yeah but with all due respect the sales of albums in Ireland aren't ever really that much, I think Circus is the highest selling album there and its sold under 200k in 3 years, when it sold that in 2 days on sale in the UK.

The sales are in Ireland are more of a bonus than anything else, the main two countries that buy TT records in the thousands are the UK and Germany, and as we have seen before in these two countries alone they can come extremely close or if not hit the 3 million mark

In terms of ireland i dont judge success on sales, yes sales are low in ireland as we have a much much smaller population than the uk, germany etc, in terms of sales i look at it per capita so i think 200,000 sales for the circus in ireland would turn out to be more successful than 2.1 million in the Uk.
Yes i agree, every is relevant in that respect, and at any rate 100k sales of an album is very good outside a country that isnt their own. In reckon it could still go platinum in Ireland however, especially as Wikipedia says it is only 15,000 to get that. I suspect they have probably sold 6 or 7 thousand so far in Ireland although i hope im wrong and they are selling better. How is the DVD doing in terms of Irish sales?

Irish sales are impossible to get, they never relesae them which is annoying so i havnt a clue how the dvd has sold.

The live album drops 2 places to number 18 in the Uk this week and the dvd holds number 1 which is great.

The chart forum does not include Take That in this weeks sales update, it actually doesnt have any sales information for positions 11-23 so its hard to know what the live album may have sold this week.
So it looks like Progress Live sold another 20k last week bringing it up to 60k in total. In the mids today they are a non mover at number 18 so the album should sell 100k at any rate
Sales for last week would be much higher than 20,000 as the number 25 sold that amount, take that would have been closer to 40,000 last week rather than 20,000. If it holds its midweek position this week it should also net them an additional 40,000 odd this week aswell.
120k (if it does hold this week) for a live album in general is fantastic. Circus managed that in 1 week but having a total like that 3 weeks in is impressive

Up 1 to number 17 today on the midweeks!!
Im happy with that, once it holds top 20 this week is great and even greater if it does the same the following.

I am impressed with number 17, I will be even more impressed if it mnages to retain the position on Sundays chart.

Im wondering, will it now end up at number 18 today, and offical number 20 on Sunday.

#54 in Ireland this week down 15 places.

Progress live is down to number 4 in the dvd chart here aswell this week.

Non mover at #18 this week which is good, id say when this weeks sales are added the album should be in or around on 100,000 sales.
Going from the sales update we have got so far the live sold would have sold somewhere between 38,000 and 40,000 last week so the album is at the 100,000 mark, i still cant see it making platnum as there is only 2 big weeks of sales left and with the album not been in the top 5 top 10 it wont have huge sales, a possible 40,0000 odd again next week and 20-25,000 the following and then drip slow sales for a few short weeks after, so 200,000 or there abouts i think will be its total.
Which is pretty good for a live album with no bonus features!
They are somewhere in the top 15 according to the midweeks
