October 17, 201113 yr He's a fantastic actor who consistently turns in really raw, affecting performances but it's for that very reason that I find him so hard to watch sometimes. IDK. This is probably going to have a lot of layers to it as a film but I'd probably rather wait to watch it on DVD than go to the cinema and come out feeling emotionally drained.

What difference does coming out of the cinema emotionally drained? Isn't that your general look from day-to-day?
November 23, 201113 yr SO GOOD! It started off pretty slow but by the end I was crying like a bitch. Could not stop laughing at the scene near the end with the Q-tip.
November 25, 201113 yr I can't help but feel a bit disappointed after watching this. I was preparing to see him die. edit: totally forgot to spoiler that. Oh my. Edited November 25, 201113 yr by Conderella
November 26, 201113 yr SO GOOD! Could not stop laughing at the scene near the end with the Q-tip. Agreed. I also loved the line about him peeing. The film wasn't as good as I was expecting... but I did enjoy it. I was also preparing for him to die so I guess it was a pleasant surprise. Gordon-Levitt really is a fantastic actor.
November 27, 201113 yr Loved it. I'd already read some spoilers so I knew he wouldn't die but I don't think it was needed, there were already enough moving points, and I'd prefer thinking it all ends happily with Anna Kendrick's character. Superb acting all around but I have so much love for Anna Kendrick.

If I was the director, I would end the movie on that scene, in order to give it a more undefined ending. The final scene was OK, but too "happily ever after for me".
January 7, 201213 yr Really good film. Fro what I've seen, the best films of last year for me: 1. 50/50 2. Drive Unfortunately I haven't seen alot of the better films due to most being released towards the end of the year.
