The new entries this week are unbelievably crap. Don't want any of them at no.1.

Not true at all I hate Professor Green but Read all about it is a good tune and Emeli is brilliant. Earthquake is a good song as well both would be deserving of No 1. Hope Cobra Starship can go Top 20.

Why couldn't the excellent 'Good Girls Go Bad' have done this well for Cobra Starship two years ago? :arrr:

'You Make Me Feel' is easily as generic as something like 'She Makes Me Wanna'.

Woah, call off the opinion police! I like Emile Sande but I THINK RAAI is poor. Or am I still 'wrong'?

I would say 'Good Girls Go Bad' is just as generic and not as good as 'You Make Me Feel...' (I don't like either but YMMF... is better IMO).

Rizzle Kicks may get a boost tonight since they are apparently performing on Xtra Factor. Over a million people watch it and the target audience would probably love RK so maybe the performance will help.

Songs that were sung on the X Factor last night:

77 Guns N' Roses/ Sweet Child o' Mine

Glad to see this re-entering the top 100 and not the TBT version. The best example of a song where the original shits all over the cover versions.

197 Lenny Kravitz/ Are You Gonna Go My Way

Marcus completely rocked this last night! Glad to see it climbing.

Since this week will be the first week Rihanna's new video will be getting major airplay, I wonder if she could re-climb to #1 midweek, after Prof Green/Emeli have inevitably knocked her down.

I don't think Kelly Clarkson will benefit majorly from the XF in regards to MKIA. I think it will re-enter the top 10 and climb to around #6/#7 - maybe the album version released tomorrow will push her into the top 5 combined?

I'm interested in what Bruno will be performing. If he performs 'Marry You', I hope it goes top 10 just so it hasn't ruined his "top 10 streak". :kink: I'd personally love a performance of 'Talking to the Moon'.

I really hope Labrinth's top version can overtake Green before XF. (Although I'm pretty sure Lab is ahead combined anyway, plus his EP is now #1 while Green's is #3).

I guess I'm in the minority then who thinks 'Read All About It' is Professor Green's best single to date. Well, it's his most commercial sounding track so it appeals to me a lot more.

That said, I'd love to see Rihanna defy all the odds and make it 4 weeks at no. 1 - it's been great to finally see a #1 with genuine longevity. If 'Read All About It' gets to #1 I just can't see it holding at the top for a second week.

Judging from the different versions on iTunes, I'm guessing Labrinth is ahead of Pro Green and likely to be #1 next Sunday.

Joy!!! -_-

Read All About It is excellent. Though hearing how well-spoken he was on Xtra Factor last week spoilt the illusion for me - it's all an act! I reckon he'll beat Labrinth since he's doing X Factor tonight.

I'm Team Rihzzle (Rihanna and Rizzle Kicks :kink:) this week!

I'm not a huge fan of RAAI and haven't heard the Labrinth song yet so can't pass judgement.

I am not too bothered about whos #1 this week; my favourites of the songs is Labrinth, so I suppose I am team Lab this week, but I love 'We Found Love' and 'Read All About It' to bits too, so I would be happy any way. It will be the best top 3 in a long time IMO.

MMP probably isn't a new entry but it's the first time I've noticed it in the feed.

Johnny has to be a mistake surely?

It makes me wonder how the X Factor singles have been selling over the last 2 weeks. This is the first X Factor performance I've seen listed in the new entries on iTunes. Surely this isn't selling more than say Craig 'Jar Of Hearts' or Misha B 'Rolling In The Deep'? I'd have expected them to have sold quite a fair amount.

They aren't supposed to show up on the feed. This happened once last year as well with Matt's version of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face (I think).

Good to see Green still ahead with the main version, hopefully his XF performance will push it ahead as Labrinth would probably have this in the bag without it, I don't actually think this is as good as his two last year (VERY unpopular opinion but true), it sounds a bit like a LTWYL clone, but its still good

Firmly TEAM LABRINTH.

Marcus showing up in the feed now as well  I'm sure this must be an error.

Rizzle and Cobra aren't climbing that quickly any more. Hmm.

Why aren't they supposed to show up?

They don't want the performances to chart because it might give away who's more popular or less popular.

Fantastic to see The Wave doing so well!!!!! :o :o I'd be so happy if it went top 40. Amazing.

And I love both Professor Green's and Labrinth's songs. I hope they can tie in sales and both get #1.

Rizzle Kicks's song is good aswell, although I don't think it's as good as Down With the Trumpets or Heart Skips a Beat.

Good to see the Drake/Nicki Minaj song out. If Turn Me On could get to #11 on iTunes, surely this could at least go top 20? But I know it won't. :(

A Cahill remix of Read All About It!?!?! Wow. I wonder what THAT will sound like. I like a lot of Cahill remixes, but I don't imagine Read All About It being the sort of song that'd get remixed like that.

Cobra Starship is okay. Not anything I'd go out of my way to listen to. It's kind of nice, but a bit boring to me. But I expect it to go top 10.
