Garbage covered the U2 song "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses" for an Achtung Baby tribute album.

Thoughts?

Garbage were great but this fairly pedestrian version doesn't give me cause for any optimism on the new material. I actually prefer the original and I'm not that keen on that version

In my opinion, it's a great cover for a difficult to perform song.

Just out of interest, who covered The Fly...?

Gavin Friday. Trent Reznor covered "Zoo Station", that's rather good.

Interestingly the NIN version sounds more like a 90s U2 than the original version does
