Posted October 29, 201113 yr Haven't started a topic in so long here I thought I'd open this one and get a B.P. showing on the topic's started list :) As it wasn't me that introduced the news, I hope no-one minds  Who's going and when? :)
October 29, 201113 yr I'm hoping to just come and meet peiople and then go home. I will be hoping to go to at least one but don't know when
October 29, 201113 yr Author I was thinking of going down to the Thursday night showing, as you can get reductions on the full ticket price. I might stay over Fri and possibly Sat too, but just for the stage door interaction. I've seen Chicago too many times now to pay for top price tickets, even with D in it. I'll certainly have to see it at least once though. Will you be about Meg? It'd be great to say hello for the 1st time in 2011 :)
October 29, 201113 yr As long as Mum's OK and David's about, I will try. Which Thursday were you thinking off?
October 29, 201113 yr Author I was thinking of Thursday 10th of November but can't remember the name of the budget hotel I've stayed in previously. Everything else is coming up at £70+ per night, which I'd pay if Lyn were accompanying me, but I begrudge it for just myself. I might have to make it Friday 11th of Nov and just stay over 'til Sat afternoon. I can then attend a matinee and do 2 or 3 stage door interactions. Once I've made a final decision I'll try and let you know. I'm hoping for some decent pics as I haven't got 1 of D this year :o I don't think I'll be able to supply Booth with my usual Chjristmas cd of D images :(
October 29, 201113 yr I'll look on Monday, Sue. I'm meeting Nina for a coffee and getting home for 9pm. Rge theatre id near Charring cross so not far from The Strand but the hotel is further down, so we'll have a look around

October 31, 201113 yr I've just put something in Bits and Pieces which is about 'Chicago' but covers other things as well
October 31, 201113 yr From Darius' facebook Darius Campbell As some of you may have already seen I'm reprising my role as Billy Flynn in the musical Chicago when it re-opens at the Garrick Theatre in London next week. I can now confirm that I'll be performing from Monday 7th November till 23rd December but I won't be performing at any of the Monday performances after the first week - don't book Mondays if you want to see me in the role!! I'll be in rehearsals for the rest of this week, I'm excited to be back and hope to put on a great show! D xx
November 1, 201113 yr Thank goodness I didn't book a Monday! Going on Thursday 1st December, the evening performance, all being well. Sue
November 4, 201113 yr Author I couldn't justify paying for a hotel for just myself :( so I decided to bring Mum and Dad with me :) We're attending on the 18th of November, is anyone else going that night? Any chance you'll be around that night Meg? It would be great to say hello :) Really hope Mum and Dad get a chance to meet D at the stage door too! I'm always telling them what a gentleman he is and I'd like it if they experience it for themselves :) I've booked the hotel and train tickets, but haven't decided on matinee or evening performance yet. I think discounted tickets are available for the matinee, but online they seem pretty poor seats. I thought I might source some discounted tickets from one of the ticket booths in the West End, to try and have a little more choice on where we sit. Failing this, I'll just have to pay full price :o Anyone got any suggestions on decent cut price ticket suppliers?
November 4, 201113 yr All the cut price tickets I've seen are Mon- Thurs. I'm attempting 23rd November. I'm putting Mum to bed 3hrs early. If it goes OK I'll try another date. I could m eet up with you before the performance on the 18th, if that's OK with you.

I've just booked 23/11 for myself, Wendy and Val so hope to see you there Meg :D Allison can't book anything atm so we may see the show again or just come up to see D and meet up with people on another date. Is anyone else going on the 23rd? Julie
November 4, 201113 yr That's good. Sorry Alison couldn't make it. I hope she's doing alright. I'll be getting into London just in time to get to the show and I'll hove to run off straight after to get home. I'm hoping we can meet in the interval. I'm putting Mum to bed 3 hrs early as I think it's the only way I'm going to manage going
