I'm glad Natasha was able to come.

 

It's good too that Darius is doing the next 2 Mondays. Nowhere in the pre-publicity as far as I know was there any indication that he wouldn't be doing all of the shows. If I booked flight, hotel etc. on the assumption he would be on stage and he wasn't because of known contractual details, I'd feel cheated. If the show goes ahead, there's no right to any refund.

Drum roll - I think I've found that one review which always turns up which seems to be about a different show/performance.

That's the trouble with being so professional. Darius always gives such a smooth performance he makes it look effortless. We saw it in PSTOS - no straining, no breathiness, no awkardness with props or movement and all in character. In the case of BF that includes the sustained accent and the delivery of his lines.

 

I wonder if the actor who wrote this would like to play the role and interpret it very differently from Darius.

i read that one yesterday and ignored it, he said darius was good..but as we know unless you are huffing and bellowing you arent putting in the effort..darius plays billy as he should be, cool, calculated, manipulative..and as he doesnt need to struggle to do the vocals,dancing etc because he is a perfectionist and gets it spot on. he makes it look easy..which it isnt, always get those comments as you say,

I wonder if he's doing some Mondays because Natasha is here? No need to catch a plane home. He signed the contract a week before it opened. He posted on the same day that he wasn't down to do Mondays, so I think he can be forgiven.
