A new album is to be released on 5th December. Where does everyone think it will chart on the albums?

I can't believe the record company are doing this so soon after her death. It will probably sell reasonably well over the Christmas period though.

It was obviously going to happen. It's too profitable to resist.

 

Rebecca Ferguson is the only other major release on 5th December so I think this could go to #1. (Previous week hang-ons it's battling are the second weeks of Olly Murs and Joe McElderry (who decided to release them on the same week? :lol:) and the third weeks of One Direction/Rihanna/Westlife (among others which probably won't be selling much by week 3)).

 

I'll predict top 5 to be safe :P

 

And I do want it to get to #1, despite it just being essentially a money-grabbing exercise.

£1 from each album sale will go towards the charity set up under Amy Winehouse's name. Reading that article, it seems that the possibility of the third studio album still remains - I imagine it'll take a year or two for them to fully consider it / set up the necessary promotion.

 

This album seems purely to maintain interest towards the artist before they can put the third album out. Will probably reach number-one, but I think any position within the top 5 would do it justice, after all it is going towards charity.

what a joke. a bunch of covers and demos that will have to be so over produced they will lose the amy feeling altogether

 

and why call it amy winehouse lioness? stupid title. just call it amy winehouse hidden treasures.
