why is ryan murphy breaking my heart with his finale's / endings?

Idk if I've posted in here since this season started so appologies if I repeat myself :teresa:

 

I found the first two episodes slow going, I could tell it was going to take six episodes or so for it to really kick in as that seems to be a bit of a trend with AHS, so I decided to take a break from watching it and planned to watch the episodes back to back when the season was further along in the hope I'd find it easier to watch as I think that's why I enjoyed Freakshow more than a lot of people. Anyway today was the day I did that, I sat and watched them with Lotti as she was hyping up how good the recent episodes have been and I have to agree, it started to get really good about 4/5 episodes in :wub:

 

Still have two episodes to go before I'm fully caught up but but I'm living for the storyline rn, it's so interesting and what a plot twist *.* Gaga's acting has come on loads since the first two episodes and I am hoping she stays for another season, I'd like to see her in a role completely opposite to the countess though :D Sally and James are my favourite characters atm, Evan is really showing how great an actor he is with Hotel and Sarah is always brilliant :heart:

Gaga was actually incredible, I was surprised to see her being one of the main actresses! I was expecting one episode with a death, The final episode is such a massive disappointment Lindsey! :(

People said Freakshow was a disappointment and it's my second favourite season ;)

Next episode is called 'Battle Royale', I'm clutching my pearls.

Just watched the newest episode, best episode of the season so far. Incredible.

omg yes, that episode was the best of the whole season hands down, completely blown away by everything and the amount of plot twists!! *.* Gagas acting has been incredible.

I find the last episode rather boring. The whole witch bit was not needed and completely irrelevant to the plot.

A quick tie-in with the previous series as the Murder House involvement went over 95% of the audience's head (because they never watched that series). As per usual with 'American Horror', all the main action happens before the finale and were left wondering what will actually happen in the finale.

so annoying to read comments about how queenie should've recognised kathy bates' character from her season. i cry in despair ;_;

I completely loved the witch element, I love it when they tie seasons together like they did with Freakshow/Asylum through Peppa, sure it didn't add anything to the main plot (except making Ramona Royale more powerful possibly?) but if you're a fan of Coven, especially of Queenie then it was iconic and really raised the episode to the next level imo :wub:

omfg gaga won the golden globe! whuuuuuut

I'm a bit :/ about this win. As much as I love her, I found her quite wooden even though she improved as the show went on, but I can't help feeling she got this because she is Lady Gaga more than anything. Kirsten Dunst, Felicity Huffman and Queen Latifah all gave much more accomplished performances in my opinion.

I think she has much potential as an actress. she was hardly afraid to get out there and do all sorts of scenes (and I doubt there was a body double for that haha) which is admirable. she was as convincing being an innocent hollywood 1920s starlett as a fierce vampire. the performance was not without flaws and i think her being lady gaga helped, but for the first role like that, she deserved it.
