6 years. It's been a long wait.

 

I have to pinch myself although I know it's true this time because Darius never says anything until things are confirmed.

 

He so deserves it and no-one can say he hasn't earned his place there.

 

 

 

Evan Forster, one of the guys Darius works with in America let the cat out of the bag in a tweet on 2nd Nov that Darius was to star on Broadway.

 

He's now added that Darius will star as Billy Flynn in Chicago on Broadway in January 2012.

 

what,when...i have been entertaining relatives from canada so havent been onliine...i had to blink hard icase i had misread the topic ..lol...

Avril was keeping quiet about it as the present Billy hadn't confirmed when he was leaving

heres some trivia..Kara Diogarda was playing Roxie on broadway till 30th Oct..the same Kara who co wrote Kinda love with darius....

it says John Ohurly?billy flynn is contracted till 11th nov,

wonder if that helped..or if she is doing another stint..small world

Thanks, B T. I only saw the dressing room in the Cambridge - it didn't look like the Broadway one at all

It doesn't look as roomy as the one Darius had at the New London.

However Tony Yazbeck seems to like a lot of stuff around him, so it's hard to tell.

 

I've no doubt Darius never cares what his dressing room is like, but it's interesting for us.

 

 

John O'Hurley apparently finishes on Broadway on 18th December. Darius is still at the Garrick then.

 

Darius was told that it would be the first change after his run here - if he was free. So I thought maybe February/March time. D is working elsewhere Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

 

Unless, of course, they put a stand in for a few weeks

Where's he working Meg? Are you free to say? I'm working nights New Year's Eve, but could be available Christmas Eve :D Well a boy can dream can't he :rolleyes:

He's stops his stint on the 23rd BT. Just enough time to get back to LA for Christmas Eve.

I think having children (and my Mum) made Christmas more special for me. I never knew which was the biggest little kid among those three. We used to be woken up by the three of them giggling

I'll only be happy when I see an official announcement of the date for Darius taking over as Billy on Broadway. I'm really worried that all the troubles with Iran might scupper it..

I'll be patient then and just get worked up over Christmas shopping etc. instead. I 've suddenly realised Christmas is a lot nearer than I thought.

Until I have a kitchen and dining room, I can't really get anything in for Christmas. I have boxes full waiting to be rehomed in the new kitchen and they seem to have taken every spare inch. I'm hoping something is finished before the kids come - I can't see where 4 beds are going to go.
