Posted August 4, 200618 yr After hearing the icon that is Patsy Kensit was the front woman of an 80s pop band, I just had to download something and I stumbled across the camp pop masterpiece that is 'Cross My Heart'. Here are two of their bigger singles: I'm Not Scared: [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoVdLANFBNE.swf Cross My Heart: [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dzw0Z6Wqm08.swf 'Cross My Heart' is the ultimate. :cheer: Chart runs: 07/02/1987 Eighth Wonder Will You Remember 96-87-{83}-88->4 20/02/1988 Eighth Wonder I'm Not Scared 71-48-38-26-20-13-10-9-{7}-18-25-50-73->13 25/06/1988 Eighth Wonder Cross My Heart 47-36-22-{13}-14-19-33-56->8 01/10/1988 Eighth Wonder Baby Baby {65}-69-91->3
August 4, 200618 yr  Brings back happy memories. Much prefer 'I'm Not Scared' This is the first time I've seen either video.
August 4, 200618 yr 'I'm Not Scared' was a piece of pop genius - lovely to see English bull terriers in the video, too, which, I reckon, still stands as a damn good pop video. I reckon a 2006 remix of I'm Not Scared should be done. Think they had an album out, too.... I have all the singles.
August 4, 200618 yr i liked 'im not scared'... a pet shop boys track of course, patsy kensit was pretty hot in the 80's, but now.... uuurrgh.
August 4, 200618 yr Author She looks amazing! I even sometimes watch Emmerdale just for her. :P I thought 'I'm Not Scared' had a very Pet Shop Boys-esque sound to it, I guess that explains why. 'Corss My Heart' is very 80s Kylie-esque, so maybe that's why I like it so much.
August 4, 200618 yr yes, 'I'm not scared', written, produced and backing vocals courtesy of Pet Shop Boys. With the amount of great pop the Pet Shops have been responsible for - their own, as well as for Liza Minelli, Robbie Williams, Dusty Springfield, Cicero, 8th Wonder.... where on earth are the Brits in giving them some sort of Lifetime Achievement award? I can think of only 2 other UK bands who have had such consistent success for over 20 years (Depeche Mode and U2).... so why is it the Brits seem to always ignore both Pet Shop Boys and, even moreso, Depeche Mode?
August 4, 200618 yr Author I've been a Pet Shop Boys fan for a while and they don't seem to get anywhere near enough recognition as they should these days. I've recently started to get into Depeche Mode aswell and the scenario is the same. :(
August 4, 200618 yr I'm Not Scared is a pop classic! Awesome song. I have the Eighth Wonder album on cassette, pretty good if you're into pop stuff.
