thats exactly what makes emmerdale so great... even when theres dodgy storylines or hammy acting , theres always some very dry one line quips...

well, the fall out from this rather bland storyline is that its given a great opportunity for nicola to be overbearing! great comic moments...

I hope Nicola and Jimmy still get to run the pub.

Poor Shadrich, my only fault with his exit storyline wa it was too rushed, i think they should have introduced it a few weeks earlier, to me they just mentioned the damage to his liver and then death.

wow...that was heavy... no humour and rightly so, two major storylines peaking and some fantastic performances.. marlon, diane, at their best. what an exit for shadrach too... he will be missed from the show.

 

emmerdale has never been so good.

Only caught the last 10 minutes ... but fantastic. Marlon is the only bloke in soaps who ... when grieving, sobbing, breaking down ... actually does it convincingly ... all snot and tears.

 

I loved that the scriptwriters rubbed salt into the wounds by showing George Costigan's character (Costigan is a FABULOUS actor) lining up his next victim. In a way though ... at least it didn't make Diane out to be a sucker ... because this guy 's a professional.

 

10 minutes of Emmerdale (when at its best) provides much more drama and good acting than Eastenders and Coronation Street can provide combined .... no matter how hard they try.

woooah! no way! theres comedy from all fronts, brilliant little quips, one liners, comedic acting (paddy), yes shadrach was good, but he was 'only' a drunk, and tbh drunks arnt really funny... (i include rab c nesbit in that).

QUEEN Natasha is leaving before the year is out. :( I guess we all knew it wouldn't be far off but still.

I'll miss her, lots.
