Cain's horrible but I love it. But yeah, Charity really isn't getting the screen time she deserves and hasn't done for months now.

i must be alone in not rating charity that highly... shes one of my least favourite characters.

eve is settling in abit better now, after reportedly telling ds that shes still nervous. once she sees herself as a 'proper' member of the cast and relaxes there should be better chemistry.

moiras ok, i predict a date for eve with a pile of manure courtesy of moira! lol.

Danny Miller was incredible tonight. Really loved Aaron's storyline.

what a brilliant climax to a fascinating storyline, danny miller is effing brilliant and was clearly robbed by that plank from eastenders in the soap awards (best actor). what a totally believeable character who insists you sympathise with his situation .... fantastic acting, i predict danny miller will go on to have a big career in acting.... much i fear to emerdales loss :(

SPOILER about Charlie and Diane:

He takes her to his chateaux in France and asks her to invest in its renovation... and then does a runner with the money.

Not sure how true that is, somebody on DS says their friend in France saw them filming it and spoke with the director so we'll see. Interesting angle though if true!

Just read that myself Jark - had suspected something fishy with him. Hopefully it's true.

Once again just to add to the Danny Miller loving. One look at him crying just sets me off!

I seem to be the only one, but I'm finding the Aaron stuff a bit much now. It's been an excellently-played storyline but I do hope him being outed is a sign that we're near the end of the relentless MISERY and he'll perk up again. In a weird way I've found myself enjoying the Eve-John-Moira stuff more than the court storyline.

In a couple of weeks he begins his probation and is bullied for being gay by one of the other probationers

not as such, but its in danger of becoming abit much IF it carries on. the story has climaxed now and to see him being all moody and miserable now will detract from what was possibly THE best storyline in modern soaps. loved the courtroom scene though.

the eve/john/moira stuff is good but im liking the build up of friction between john and caine... i couldnt call it if they fought.

the charlie/diane storyline cannot be for real.... i dont think charlie is a strong enough nor interesting enough character to become long term which is what he must be if he and diane get it together.

so maybe that con man theory could be right

I'm disappointed with how the kiss was handled yesterday, truth be told. Cain being the one to witness it was a nice touch but neither John nor Eve's reactions were especially convincing. I'm not really enjoying seeing this vicious side to Doug either.

Off-topic but I'm thinking of doing an Emmerdale Character Survivor whereby the characters are randomly assorted into groups and scored, and each round we lose several characters until we have a winner. Would there be sufficeint interest in that?

Oh HIGH DRAMA at the end there. Cain is truly horrible! I approve fully. I see they're building up to a POOR UNLOVED VIV scenario too...

lol.. yep, caine was a complete bstrd... great stuff!

im glad jamie is leaving, easily the worst 'young' character

the kiss scene was rather .... hurried? and caine seeing them was abit corny. moiras great.

id be interested in a rate...

didnt think much of the jamie leaving storyline... why wouldnt he take ugly mush if he loved her and had forgiven her indiscretion BEFORE she got with him?... nahhh..

fortunately other storylines are more interesting...

You might be one of the 'old' crowd Rob but you prove yourself to be highly immature at times. I really can't fathom what your opinion of Gennie's looks have to do with the quality of the storyline beyond wanting to get a sly dig in there. Grow up.

I thought Gennie was absolutely excellent in Friday's episode, a genuinely emotionally performance, especially at the end as he drove off. She looked truly crazed.

cos i forgot her name..... simples.

tbh shes been abit of baggage for some time, underused and with no real purpose. i wasnt impressed with her ott screaming, that doesnt equate to good acting, and the storyline was one of the daftest in recent times on emmerdale... it seemed hurried and ill concieved. he supposed to love her, they had been getting on great, it was all in the past, then 1 ridiculous encounter brought it all back? and the cure would be to get away...the two of them? and he rejected that? .... utter nonsense.

carry on knocking and bickering with the oldies, noticed how little imput we have now? we will soon be all gone cos we are sick and tired of arguing the toss with children.

You wouldn't have to if you didn't post things as silly as what I quoted there!

Anyway I agree it was a rushed storyline but Gennie was the strong link in all of it. I absolutely hate how Bob has handled Viv finding out about the one-night stand, as if she doesn't have any real right to be angry. Oddly enough she's actually been quite deserving of the audience's sympathy this week.

I think Emmerdale needs a rehash with characters like Bob, Terry and possible Viv gone (though she's grown on me). Doug, Diane, Eric, Val - that's how you do an older character.

... but she told him the marriage was over, unlike the affairs she had with the limo driver and paddy!!! when they were married. i dont think she has any right to be angry.. as shes been unfaithful twice and then moans at bob when he had a one nighter after she told him it was over!

but thats why viv is such an essential character...blatant contradictions plus her fantastic one liners she used to deliver.

i like the growing testosterone fuelled tensions between several of the main male characters... john, caine, nathan and the new guy.

Paul Lambert will be back for a few eps around Nicolas wedding. Apparently could lead to a perm. return.

Interesting to see interaction with Aaron...

I don't see any reason why they'd even have interraction, Paul being a good decade older than him and all. I hope they don't anyway.
