I'm glad I'm not the only one bored rigid by Jackson! I watched it for a couple of weeks when I was at home and I felt bad that even though he's clearly going through a lot, I just wanted him to shut up and accept it. It seems it's not just me who feels that way. I was aware of the storyline before watching it and was disappointed to see it's being executed quite badly - with the character I'm sure we're supposed to be rooting for reduced to being grumpy, selfish and dull.

I've finally caught up and my God the Jackson storyline has just dragged on so much. I love Aaron but geez Jackson is dragging them both way down. At first the cripple storyline was interesting but now it's pretty much just a case of let him walk again or kill him.

I think Adele Silva is quite a talented actress but by god the storyline is dire. Has anyone else noticed how much Holly Barton has improved? She is appearing on screen again and I find myself able to watch her without thinking 'oh dear', whihc is good cause she's really pretty too, and the Barton's are very realistic.

The Jimmy, Nicola, Kelly storyline is just terrible and i cant wiat for it to end as i find it hard to watch, im also hating paddy, rhona and marlon stuff i always hit the sky+ forward button when they come on, the jackson storyline i like as a friend of mine was in a similar situation a few years back (although not as sever) so i understand why he is the way he is and i have empathy and understanding for the charactor, i also love jackson and hazel's relationship and i think hazel is a great addition to the show.

Jackson leaves in June.

Great acting from Lisa tonight as always.

Jane Cox is such an unsung hero. Tonight's episode was one of the best of this year, not just for the Lisa stuff but also some great comedy stuff in the pub (Chas is proving to be a very natural landlady) and with Nicola (I love how she doesn't even bother hiding her disdain for Brenda). Looking forward to seeing Debbie take the stand tomorrow.

Lisa was very good and performance was very believable and as a viewer i found her very easy to emphathise with, i also like the nicola brenda distaste,the last 2 episodes have been the best 2 in a while, i also liked some of hazel's lines aswell with aaron and jackson.

Friday's episode was a truly cringeworthy display of 'acting' from Marc Silcock. Nice to see Jackson not being a moody shit for once but DEAR GOD THE BOY CANNOT ACT.

I bet Whitby will be glad to see the back of him!!!
