I'm really loving where they've taken Cain and Charity, probably just because I fancy the pants off her but you know. As far as I can see Debbie is only going to be off-screen whilst Charley Webb has her baby so she should be back by the summer. I can't imagine how they're going to write her out though!

I agree about Sally. She was a great pantomime villain but since Ashley threw her out she's been directionless, pointless almost. It's the same with Nathan now. :(

loved that classic line from eli the other night regarding charity "how can something so fit be so horrible"

im fed up with that spineless wimp mark.. the sooner that creep leaves the better, hopefully without either woman.

im sure nathan will get a decent storyline soon, he plays the slimeball brilliantly.

I try and catch Emmerdale when I can, much better than EastEnders and Hollyoaks imo. I'm liking the gay and the Laurel/Sally storylines, will be interesting this week when Sally makes a pass at Ashley! And Mushy, I actually know a few gay chavs. They definitely exist!
But then again you could seduce a gay in an anti-homosexual religious convent David.

:heehee: Now now, don't go giving me ideas Jark.

True true... I suppose though thinking about it they're not the worst of the chavs. A "milder breed" of the culture one might say... A lot of it's probably an act so they appeal to the gayer of the gays and well...you know. :magic:

Stop being absurd Rob. Of course there are gay chavs! Being gay isn't a choice so anybody who has been brought up in a chav culture is a potential gay chav.

...i thought gay people had more dress sense! lol,

Why isn't this pinned?

It's one of my 2010 resolutions to get back into Emmerdale.

Why isn't this pinned?

Because it isn't popular enough to be pinned. This thread is over two years old and has only nine pages of posts.

If there was a significant increase in posts and activity in this thread then I would look at pinning it.

looks like the sally storyline is coming to a head... ffs... chuck her out!

ryan might have devestated katie, but he did the right thing finishing with her first.

the only trouble is.... hes going off with his half sister! great storyline that might impact on marks departure.

Maybe people can't find it ;) ?

Anyways Emmerdale has been epic recently, and the increase in ratings shows it :D! Really wish Jo would come back though.

It will impact on Mark going I imagine because

he's killed in a hit-and-run and Ryan in particular would have a huge motive for mowing him down!

In some lovely Emmerdale news it broke the 8m barrier on Monday for the first time since Gavin Blyth became exec producer a year ago and on both Tuesday and Wednesday it did it again. Definitely makes up for the disappointing figures at Christmas (and the episodes this week have been an awful lot better than the Christmas week ones).

I'm so excited for what Charity and Cain are about to get up to (with regards to

conning somebody out of a ton of money

)!

thats what i was hinting at.... but i dont know the storyline just a rumour about your spoiler

Re the ratings, its more to do with the new BARB system they're using, all soaps have been up almost 1million since it took over on Monday, but ED really deserved it :D
It's nothing to do with any new system. :P It's because the ratings in general are up with everybody snowed in at home (as well as the current explosive storylines generally).

Sally is too scary!!!

It only just dawned on me today that Adam's real life brother is Corrie's Jason Grimshaw.

No it isn't, it's because of the new BARB system as well as the snow, as they're using a new system...

Anyways, Emmerdale got 8.3 million and 9.03 million last night, which is epic.

I honestly can't believe it topped 9 million. Fabulous!
