February 25, 201213 yr I can't wait to hear Zeljko's song. I love "Lane Moje", "Lejla" and "Oro". I was totally going to say the same. I don't really like Lane Moje & Lejla but Oro is a masterpiece.
February 25, 201213 yr I didn't know he composed 'Oro' and 'Lejla'. Masterpieces. For some reason I know he won't sell-out and is going to do something similar to his other songs. Edited February 25, 201213 yr by Ljósið

February 25, 201213 yr Why, were you expecting Zeljko to get his Taio Cruz on? You hate Balkan ballads, so I guess you'd rather have him do that, wouldn't you? :( And no, but there was always a possibility he will do something more poppy and modern. But I know he will stick to the epic Balkan ethnic sound

But I know he will stick to the epic Balkan ethnic sound  What are you basing that assumption on exactly, that I'm not keen on Lane Moje, ONE song from the genre? I really like Lejla and Oro and am partial to Molitva! I love Lako Je Sve and Nebo too, if you consider them to be 'Balkan ballads'! And I'm more against the generic Taio Cruz pop sound than most people on Buzzjack so of course I wouldn't want that! I really can't imagine him doing anything else, he has a definitive 'sound' that he's always had success with so I can't see any reason to change it.

Oh, I thought you didn't like Lejla (only 2 points in Super Eurovision though  ) and I haven't seen you mention your love for Oro either :o I have an unconditional love for all of the mentioned songs, except Nebo (so far) :kink:

I won't pretend that it's my favourite genre ever but I'll take it over Taio Cruz-esque crap any day of the week!
March 10, 201213 yr We'll be hearing Zeljko's song tonight, hopefully it'll be good! If it is a great song, Serbia have got a great chance at winning this year with no obvious favourite yet (except Loreen or Danny) :)
March 10, 201213 yr It IS going to be good. So far there hasn't been a single song Zeljko wrote that couldn't cause me to JIZZ IN MY PANTS while listening to it.
March 10, 201213 yr I haven't watched it, but according to ESC Forum, it's in English but is called Nije ljubav stvar :L
March 10, 201213 yr The song, called 'Synonym' by the way, is obviously good. He's performing it in Serbian now.

March 10, 201213 yr It sounds so similar to Paradise at the beginning! :o Here's the studio version of 'Nije Ljubav Stvar' (apparently he is most likely to sing in Serbian at ESC) zJvlzGeUM5w
March 10, 201213 yr Not the studio version, given you can hear the audience applause, but it just goes to show how great he is live!
March 10, 201213 yr I think it should be performed in Serbian in Baku as it sounds more genuine. It's a nice track, but it doesn't have a winning feel to it, Lane Moje was a lot stronger in that sense.
March 10, 201213 yr The general manager of RTS has said he won't allow it to be performed in English in the final :D
