Leyndarmál is absolutely fantastic! Much prefer it to The One!

Mundu eftir mér is also pretty grand, but I am not very keen on Jónsi's vocals (Is this the same Jónsi from ESC 2004?). The verses are brilliant, but the chorus is a little weaker than I expected it to be.

Rýtingur could have been really good if it had a melody at all, but I appreciate it's individuality and it'll be one of the most experimental NF songs of 2012.

Við hjartarót mina is nice. Nothing more, nothing less.

Stattu Upp... Umm, well if Iceland chooses this one then I suppose I'll probably end up getting into it, but for now it's my least favourite song in this semi... comfortably.

Overall, the Icelandic selection is looking good this year if this standard continues for the rest of the semis.

If Mundu Efter Mér wins and they perform it in Baku as well as they just did, they will be unstoppable.

Truly SENSATIONAL.

I missed Iris :(

Mundu Efter Mér was ok, but I'm not sure it'll be unstoppable in Baku if it gets selected. Love how the backing vocalists are pretty much the same ones Hera had though :kink:

This boyband track is beyond dire.

'Stattu Upp' was an utter MESS. It's like they were 4 solo singers who forgot their routine and were forced to sing together.

The song is catchy though.

Hoping Mundu Eftir Mér and Leyndarmál are through. Not even bothered about the last song-borefest that is currently on.

Íris vocally was AMAZING. The performance was dire though (there was 4 of them sitting at the beginning, then she stoopd up and walked a bit while singing, then sat again. Back vocalists (30-40 year-old women) were sitting the entire time  )

Greta looks SO much like Yohanna. Surely it's a SIGN.
I quite liked the last song, but I'd definitely prefer it if Mundu Eftir Mér and Leyndarmál qualified. The other two songs did nothing for me at all!

Wait, what :( I've missed almost all of it, I thought it was starting at 9.30 our time :drama:

Where is Ragnhildur!!!?!?!

Where is Ragnhildur!!!?!?!

This :(

The Green Room/Cafeteria host is even worse :drama:

Wish they'd hurry up with the results, Million Pound Drop's starting in five minutes!

No host will ever top Ragnhildur and Eva for me.

She stole Nadine Beiler's awful fringe/bob! I miss the amazing duo :(

Hope the two that are currently in my personal chart go through, both looked pretty well performed from the recaps!

A dire boyband with a catchy song through. Ugh. :nocheer: They will need A LOT of work.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BITCHES.

Poor Íris :(

I guess boybands are back in vogue in Iceland too :o It's my (distant) third favourite so not a disaster, but I'm not exactly ecstatic at it denying Iris a place :( Yay for Gréta Salóme and Jónsi though

Aww Íris :(

That boyband was just so awful, but that sort of thing is equally as popular in Iceland as it is here. The song was written by Ingo also, who is pretty huge in Iceland himself. Such a shame it triumphed over Leyndarmál :(

Mundu eftir mér is amazing! If this wins, I hope they keep it in Icelandic!
I only saw the clips and the results. From the clips Iris and Greta/Jonsi sounded the best so at least Greta/Jonsi got through :)
