Read in my magazine that Xtina has confirmed that the song is about when she was younger and her father used to beat her mother up! Poor Christina :o. I love the song :wub:

I thought some of the lyrics were similar to I'm OK off Stripped, and that's what that was about I think. :(

yeah, both singles were about the abuse her father gave... :(

 

it something close to her heart so i guess she needs to express it in her records... although 'oh mother' is a little more upbeat compared to 'Im Ok'... i prefer the latter though to be honest!! :wub:
