Anne has posted a reply she received as to why Will only sang 3 songs at Wave Live. Answer from Keith, the Events Director re Will`s set... Thanks for those. With respect to your question on Will Young. When negotiating Will's participation we asked his management for more than 3 songs but unfortunately we were unable to get around contractual restrictions for this type of show (which he very rarely does). As it was always billed as a multi artist show, we felt that faced with a choice of 3 songs or nothing by Will, then 3 songs would absolutely enhance the show for all, especially as he personally promised to put together something special for it, which ended up being his fantastic and unique dance routine. Having seen his performance we think we definitely made the right decision, especially with the "on your feet" finale that "Jealousy" provided. Sounds to me as if it was down to cost, as some of us thought. Edited April 3, 201213 yr by truly talented
