I posted the exact same thing on Devoted. She has had to have been listening to Will's acoustic take on the song. Still as munchkin says, imitation is the best form of flattery. :)

Not quite in Will's league but I like it too.

I don't like it much but I think it shows off her voice much better than the dross she is releasing. Nice for her to choose it though.

Lucky people.

Our colleagues @globeathay festival are enjoying a real treat! @will_young31 Has turned up & is currently jamming in the 'Tea Tent
'

what a wonderful set from @will_young31 and @kishmauve - duets raised the roof (admittedly a canvas one)

Popjustice article on the voice.

Will mention

The Coach Selection

One significant pre-show error was the coach selection process. The news that Will Young was a potential candidate for the show was met with excitement. Will Young is the popstar it is hard to dislike, always coming across as funny, polite, sincere and most importantly for a show like The Voice, honest. He has also experienced a TV song contest first hand, a key point for anyone expecting the coaches to truly relate to the contestants.

There was a collective sigh of disappointment when the producers went for a rockier alternative, that being Danny from The Script. The casual TV viewer would fail to recognise Danny from The Script if he turned up at your door, introduced himself as Danny from The Script and joined you on your sofa to watch the show with you. Disappointing all round. Besides, I’ve seen rockier pre-prepared supermarket salad.

Thanks Sunday. Popjustice's support for Will has been brilliant. Although I was disappointed at the time, I'm very relieved, even Will couldn't have saved this show. In fact being looked over has actually raised rather than damaged his image.
Thanks Sunday, I was angry when Will got used for promo and then dropped at the last minute, but I'm glad he wasn't in it after I saw the lack of cohesion between the coaches, they just didn't work together to make it a success.

Has this been posted? From yesterday's Daily Mirror

Started to post this yesterday but got distracted :(

Thanks happiness1. Trust the Mirror to print one of the worse pics of Will, as it's main pic. I mean facial-wise. I rather like the Bermuda plaid shorts with a hooped T-shirt.

Thanks to Mary on Devoted for this - who cares what he wears - his money is just as good as anyone else. Bet the Academy were miffed he had second thoughts

Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2012

Last night I saw some wonderful artwork at the launch of the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition. The preview showcased work from both well-known and undiscovered talent, and guests enjoyed summer fruit cocktails and champagne as they perused the eclectic work.

TV presenters, artists, actors and models brushed shoulders as they hunted down their favourite. Will Young told me how something had caught his eye, 'Some of the work is brilliant, I particularly like a piece called Snug Fit Funnels by Jana Fowler, but it’s on for £1,200 so I think I’ll be good tonight.' The popstar, who was recently cast as Emcee in a new West End version of Cabaret, told me that his stage ambitions have meant he will have to put his music career on hold. 'Cabaret goes on until next year, so music is not on the agenda until then. I’ve just filmed the video for the last single from Echoes actually, I’m dancing with a shopping trolley,' he laughed.

Thanks for that Hay link TT - great stuff

Now Will you mustn't spend too much money!! Thanks munchkin and thanks TT for the link - that was incredible. :yahoo:

Sorry too but trying to post and watch TV at the same time - made some unforgivable spelling mistakes.
