Wonder if I'm on the right one? When I tuned in on the laptop it showed them playing Your Game, but now I've got the sound on the guy hasn't mentioned Will in the run down of what's after 9. Did you hear YG TT?

Yes Your Game, then ads for a comp and then the rest of the interview.

Was it live or a pre record ?

Think it was a pre-record. Will talked about having one show left, the Palladium.

Are you all ready for Monday?

Thanks Sunday. Still see it as a subtle dig, but maybe that's just the cynic in me.

Wonder if Will will take a holidy with his new found free time or will he find some other project to pursue. Perhaps Catch 22 willl get more of his hands on time.

Top of the Pops is back for a Christmas Day special, bringing a host of this year’s greatest pop stars and toe-tapping hits to your screen.

Presented by Radio 1 DJ’s Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates, this hour long special will have performances from The Wanted, Pixie Lott and Example.

Other acts performing on Top Of The Pops Christmas Special will include this year’s The X Factor winner, Professor Green and Emeli Sandé, Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs, Rizzle Kicks, The Vaccines, Will Young and Noah and the Whale.

The hour of festive fun and top tunes from the last year concludes with the exclusive announcement of this year's Christmas Number 1 just before The Royal Christmas Message.

Reggie Yates says: "Hosting the yearly specials of Top Of The Pops with Fearne Cotton is one of the highlights of my year, it’s always such a thrill to present such a loved show."

Fearne Cotton says: "I'm so happy Top Of The Pops is back for another Christmas special. It's a wonderful tradition that I'm so proud to be part of. Great bands, live music and a sprinkling of fake snow thrown in to the mix! It'll be lovely teaming up with my old mate Reggie Yates again too. See you Christmas Day!"

Top Of The Pops back again for Christmas

12:31 | Friday December 9, 2011

By Paul Williams

Top Of The Pops is returning to TV screens for its annual Christmas Day appearance with a studio line-up exclusively comprised of UK artists.

Although the show was axed after more than 42 years as a weekly fixture in July 2006, it has continued to have a presence on the BBC One December 25 schedules ever since and this year is no exception with the programme due to go out that day between 2 and 3pm.

Being recorded this Monday (December 12) at BBC Television Centre in London, the hour-long programme will include among its performers Example, Pixie Lott, Rizzle Kicks, Ed Sheeran, The Wanted and Will Young. Professor Green featuring Emeli Sande, Olly Murs, Noah & The Whale, The Vaccines and whoever wins The X Factor final on Sunday will also feature.

The way the calendar falls this year with December 25 on a Sunday means the Official Charts Company’s Christmas chart will come out on Christmas Day itself and Top Of The Pops is due to unveil who is number one on the countdown just before the Queen’s Christmas Message is screened.

The programme will be hosted by Fearne Cotton and Radio 1 Top 40 host Reggie Yeates who said: “Hosting the yearly specials of Top Of The Pops with Fearne Cotton is one of the highlights of my year; it’s always such a thrill to present such a loved show.”

Cotton added: “I’m so happy Top of the Pops is back for another Christmas special. It’s a wonderful tradition that I’m so proud to be part of. Great bands, live music and a sprinkling of fake snow thrown in to the mix! It’ll be lovely teaming up with my old mate Reggie Yates again, too. See you Christmas Day.”

Glad to have TOTP confirmed and that Jealousy is seen as the HUGE hit it is to feature. :yahoo:

Will will enjoy catching up with Fearne. :)

So many people will be watching it, what a good shop window!

Even those who've lived under a musical stone all year will get to hear it!
