That's how I started out with Skrillex! Summit is rather fantastic. I ended up checking out the entirety of Bangarang and it's very solid but maybe not for you. I don't know if anything else on Bangarang is for you, everything has "them weird dubstep noises" that you dislike but I would say it's worth checking out.

I did quite enjoy 'breakn' a sweat' as well, although the chorus is a *little* bit on the noisy side which is what stopped me from loving it. saying that it's not the most noisiest of dubstep chorus breakdowns, I probably draw the line at modestep's 'sunlight'. :puke:

taking that into consideration I wouldn't mind giving it a go. I've enjoyed everything I've heard from him so far so why not. ^_^

To me "Breakn' A Sweat" is the first drop of his that sounds like it could be a pop hook. Probably my favourite Skrillex track.

I'm loving 'bangarang' right now. :wub: quite different to the other two songs I've heard from him.

Bangarang is great after initially not thinking too much of it.

 

This is Skrillex's new song he released a few weeks ago. What do you guys think of it? IMO, it's far from his best and Damian isn't the best choice of vocalist. Hopefully Bangarang (single) can go top 40 next week :dance: It's at #28 on iTunes. Make It Bun Dem is at #77

I saw him in concert last summer and he did a hell of a job, awesome performer.

New EP "Leaving" is out, and yet now he chooses to release a video for "Summit". Odd.

 

Some of the new stuff seems to be a step away from his older style and into more subtle territory influenced by Brit DJs, "The Reason" is sort of in the middle and is already one of my favourites of his.

 

 

I imagined that 'summit' would have a pretty good video if there would have been one made for it, and that is actually pretty good minus the typical live performance shots. maybe there is a chance that it could be a late UK single? :D
