After MUCH deliberation, here is how the re-recorded tracks will work

01: Keisha & Heidi will appear on ALL tracks

02: Amelle will only appear on 'Red Dress' 'Follow Me Home' and the new tracks

03: Siobhan's vocals will NOT appear on the album

04: Mutya has been back in the studio with Keisha & Heidi to re-record their first 4 singles 'Overload' 'New Year' 'Run For Cover' 'Soul Sound'

05: Mutya refused permission for Amelle to re-record her vocals for all the other tracks

So, no Amelle on the original 4 singles, INSTEAD Mutya is returning to the studio with the 'Babes to re-record the songs too! :o

So this is finally sorted out now then? I'm surprised Mutya is returning to re-record some tracks, the whole thing sounds like a bit of a mess to me -_-

Mutya probably wants to make sure her mark is left

And the only reason Siobhan is being erased is because the new Sugababes record co. bought the rights to the tracks.

It will be great to hear new versions though :D

I still want the original versions  It would save so much time and effort, just bung the GREATEST HITS on the album - not a load of re-recordings <_<

You've got a point there Slick, but then again, Mutya was in the band for about 3-4 years or so and does deserve some credits for the work she done.

That's what I meant  There should be all the original versions on the GH, with Siobhan, Mutya and Amelle on the songs they released -_-

This is bizarre. They're re-recording old songs with an old line-up.

I feel very bad for Siobhan and Amelle. Siobhan's vocals are being replaced but Mutya's are being re-recorded. I know Mutya was in the band for longer but I can't understand how they can justify erasing one bandmate from Babe history but not the other, even going to the effort of roping her in to re-record her own vocals.

It's potty.

Not bothered about all the re-recordin i just want the album now!!!!!

Maroon 5 have released a few albums, but Songs About Jane has been their only big album

And yeah, like Slick said the album sold millions so they are pretty much guarunteed massive first week sales :(
