Pretty shocking selection this year!

Richard Edwards could win it, or maybe Klinsmann, but that doesn't mean I like those tracks  . Fabrizio has a good chance too as it's very catchy. I quite like Claudia's track and You Make Me Go UH UH, but I can't see either of them winning.

The qualifiers:

In Your Eyes - Lawrence Gray (Philip Vella & Cher Vella)

Petals On A Rose - Gianni Zammit (R. Abrahamsson, A. Aly, N. Numhauser & T. Fenech)

You Make Me Go Uh Uh - Deborah Cft. Leila James (David Vervoort & Patrick Reiner)

I Will Fight For You (Papa’s Song) - Fabrizio Faniello (J. Beoerham, N. Edberger, R. Uhlmann, W. Fenech & F. Faniello)

Pure - Claudia Faniello (Philip Vella & Gerard James Borg)

Seven Days - Danica Muscat (Philip Vella)

Mystifying Eyes - Corazon (Paul Giordimania & Fleur Balzan)

Answer With Your Eyes - Amber (Ray Agius & Alfred C. Sant)

Time - Wayne Micallef (Wayne Micallef)

Look At Me Now - Richard Edwards (Jan Van Dijck & Richard Micallef)

First Time - Kaya (Georgios Kalpadikis)

This is the Night - Kurt Calleja (Johann Jamtberg & Kurt Calleja)

No Way Back - Klinsmann (Paul Albela, Klinsmann Coleiro & Jonathan C. Spiteri)

You Are My Life - J. Anvil (George Georgion)

16. Take Me Far - Francesca Borg (Marco Debono & Doris Chetcuti)

No Annalise Ellul or Eleonor Cassar, or Isabelle. Rubbish results.

The only good songs IMO are Gianni's and Dorothy. Have to admit Fabrizio's song is catchy but he's a bad performer.

Kurt Calleja won, Claudia Faniello 2nd.

From the recap I wanted Claudia to win, Kurt's song is ok - but sounds a bit dated and average. Still better than One Life though!

Poor Malta, they used to be SO great but once again they've got no chance. Obviously the production will be revamped (and it needs to be! Sounds like a cheap karaoke version of Heaven at the minute) but I'm not particularly keen on his voice.

That sounds really bad for my home country, they have no chance, Claudia would have been the better choice.
Awful. Vocals are beyond bad.
Absolutely awful. I would say it could be a contender for nul points, but didn't they somehow manage to come 11th in their semi final last year?!
Yeah, this could be a 0 pointer. One Life was catchy and you could see Glen was really embracing being in the contest so that's why I think he did quite well. This song is just awful, in a "Celebrate" kind of way. Poor Claudia! :(
Just joyless really :( And Claudia had a wonderful song, that could have surely gone places...
I don't like our entry but tbh I doubt Claudia would've fared much better than this had she been chosen...

What a catchy song, love the 'eh-eh-eh-eh-eeeehyyy'

BUT when that is said, his vocals are AWFUL! please change to a female singer, Malta ?

Overall I like the song

They made a wrong choice once again. I don't know why they always do that. They will fail again. I wanted Pure when there was a little margin between both of TOP 2.

I don't get the dislike for this song, I really like it and this studio version is really great! :D

Look at the hot drummer-chick! And she is for real also as you can see in the first video. Definitely part of the final stage act. Right here it starts raining golden stars! Love it!

This is a good song.

The first couple of seconds of this song are good but the rest is just a dated pile of poo.

yes, I like it too and usually I'm not into ballads so this year it's nice to see an uptempo song. There are a few exceptions of course like C'est ma vie (2011), Milim (2010), Is it true? (2009), Hold on be strong and Senhora do mar (2008) and so on but this year I don't like any of the ballads as much as those above. I hope they will grow on me.

Found another video. The real live Final performance?

Eurovision 2012 Malta: Kurt Calleja - This is the night (Live Final) WINNER. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBVsAve6hrQ

Kurt seems to lose it when he performs live - weak voice and uninspired moves. Is he bored already with the song? Looks like the average local rock band concert.

I wish they removed all people from the stage except for the drum chick and created something visual from that. The weak voice is worrying.

I really wish all the best for Malta and hope they could go all the way, but this year it looks difficult.
