Don't really need to see any more Cribs videos though do we?
Well I don't have Sky anymore so I don't particularly care, but it was certainly unique amongst all the other channels that UK has. It's the only one you're likely to see any new, remotely indie acts on. :(

Agreed. I've heard many a new band on it.

I guess as a TV channel it's not so terrible as the whole institution. I don't see how losing a not that popular TV station is significant to the decline of alt music which isn't declining at all. Let's face it theres no point watching NME Tv when you could be listening to BBC 6music for alot better and varied alt music.
It had a poor slot in the sky guide. Right at the very end next to Clubland and Massive R&B as well as having no request function to generate income. If you are flicking throught the guide you are likely to have found a song you like before you got to NME.
