Hi gooddelta,

6. Leona Lewis - Hurt (NEW) (CR-6) It's OK but I find it a bit boring

10. Coldplay - Paradise (Re-entry) (CR-20-30-40-OUT-10) They are good live, but I'm not really into this type of music

Richard :D

1. Military Wives with Gareth Malone - Wherever You Are (37) (CR-37-1) LOL. I heard this out of curiosity and I was just sat there bored out my mind. It's a very nice message as to why they're doing it but I can't get over how terrible it is lol. I wish Little Mix would be Chrimbo number 1. But at least they will lose out to something worthy and NOT Nirvana :puke:

2. Hilltop Hoods feat Sia - I Love It (5) (CR-5-2)

3. Little Mix - Cannonball (NEW) (CR-3) J'adore! Genuinely the best winner's single imo. Looking forward to original stuff so much!

9. Gotye feat Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know (13) (CR-60-48-44-39-OUT-27-19-13-9) Really, REALLY don't get the fuss behind this terrible song. It annoys me it's getting such acclaim and everyone seems to love it!

11. Reece Mastin - Good Night (14) (CR-16-9-14-11)

17. Christina Perri - A Thousand Years (10) (CR-26-18-23-12-2-2-5-10-17) Such a beautiful song. It's still growing on me. Wish it would re-enter the top 40 officially!

19. The Saturdays feat Travie McCoy - The Way You Watch Me (12) (CR-32-12-19) I can see why this is the next single now that I've seen it live. Such a safe and predictable choice. Which is exactly what they need at this moment in time.

24. Rihanna - You Da One (19) (CR-10-10-15-19-24)

32. Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) (33) (CR-55-OUT-23-13-7-11-24-36-31-33-32) Nice little one place climb. Really hope it's a big hit for her here!

33. Coldplay - Charlie Brown (NEW) (CR-33)

35. Diana Vickers - Music To Make The Boys Cry (NEW) (CR-35) Her new stuff sounds very, very promising. I'm particularly loving 'Kiss Of A Bullet'!

I really need to give Slow Moving Millie's album a go, it sounds interesting! Great chart as always :D

Hey Gee!

Not a big fan of the Cannonball and Hurt covers, but then I didnt care for the originals. However I'm more interested when Little Mix come out with their own material, hopefully free of covers. They'll probably replace The Saturdays who I see splitting up soon, unfortunately :(

Really dont like that Lloyd song, its like he's desperately trying to recreate Forget You or Hey Ya and its just not working for me - maybe I'm just not a fan of this style of music?

Je L'Aime À Mourir is the new #1 in France, unsurprisingly. Not a huge fan, I prefer party-up Shakira tbh :D

Good chart :)

1. Military Wives with Gareth Malone - Wherever You Are (37) (CR-37-1) - Wow! I do like this more than I was expecting to, but I didn't expect to see it that high. It is rather pleasant though.

2. Hilltop Hoods feat Sia - I Love It (5) (CR-5-2) - Yes! Really enjoying this now! Sia  #1 next week? :kink:

3. Little Mix - Cannonball (NEW) (CR-3) - Well, I am team Little Mix for Xmas #1, but I wouldn't mind the MW getting there. Really love this version of Cannonball though.

10. Coldplay - Paradise (Re-entry) (CR-20-30-40-OUT-10) - X Factor had an effect on you then? (Brilliant performance, best all series I think among the guests) One of my favourite songs this year, so pleased it seems to be getting the success it deserves

12. Lloyd feat André 3000 and Lil' Wayne - Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) (7) (CR-26-26-25-7-12)

13. Drake feat Rihanna - Take Care (9) (CR-26-11-9-4-9-13)

20. The Saturdays - Faster (15) (CR-25-27-15-20)

21. The Storm - My Crown (NEW) (CR-21) - I've come across this before, I swear, well, might have seen an article somewhere without listening to the song. I'll just have a listen to it again. I like their name. Nice song. Could see that being a grower.

33. Coldplay - Charlie Brown (NEW) (CR-33) - Decent choice for new single I guess, still growing on me, as long as PoC is next... But I do like it somewhat, I should chart it soon...

35. Diana Vickers - Music To Make The Boys Cry (NEW) (CR-35)

36. Florence + The Machine - No Light, No Light (Re-entry) (CR-30-21-15-OUT-36)

Great chart as normal! :D

Thanks Eyes!

At least you like Military Wives, if only a bit - everyone else seems to despise it which is fair enough, it's hardly Buzzjack's genre of choice - my top five is all over the place genre wise this week  Yep, X Factor definitely had an effect this week - the Paradise performance was very bright and impressive, really brought the song to life for me.

1. Military Wives with Gareth Malone - Wherever You Are (37) (CR-37-1)   :kink: I don't like this song as you can tell

3. Little Mix - Cannonball (NEW) (CR-3) ... but I really LOVE this

4. Rihanna feat Calvin Harris - We Found Love (1) (CR-21-4-3-4-7-5-2-3-5-1-1-1-4)

6. Leona Lewis - Hurt (NEW) (CR-6) It's OK but I find it a bit boring

10. Coldplay - Paradise (Re-entry) (CR-20-30-40-OUT-10) They are good live, but I'm not really into this type of music

12. Lloyd feat André 3000 and Lil' Wayne - Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) (7) (CR-26-26-25-7-12)

13. Drake feat Rihanna - Take Care (9) (CR-26-11-9-4-9-13)

14. Ed Sheeran - Lego House (11) (CR-14-16-18-14-9-3-1-3-1-1-6-8-11-14)

16. Slow Moving Millie - Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want (8) (CR-32-14-10-8-16)

17. Christina Perri - A Thousand Years (10) (CR-26-18-23-12-2-2-5-10-17) I wanted to like this but I find it disappointing - it flopped in the UK for a reason B-)

24. Rihanna - You Da One (19) (CR-10-10-15-19-24)

26. Maroon 5 feat Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger (17) (CR-64-52-50-62-OUT-60-14-3-3-1-1-1-1-2-2-3-6-8-8-9-12-15-17-17-26) Longest Runner

33. Coldplay - Charlie Brown (NEW) (CR-33) This one's OK, good to see they're not getting out the Rihanna track too soon. POC could really help the album after xmas when sales go down

39. Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump (NEW) (CR-39) Am surprised at how well it's doing in the chart already, it's OK but nothing special

Great Chart :D

Thanks Daniel!

I don't think many people like Wherever You Are, damn my strange music taste! I'm not usually into Coldplay but Paradise and Charlie Brown were very good on X Factor and I like Princess of China and Every Teardrop a lot too, a very good era for them in my eyes...I have to disagree with you about A Thousand Years, I find it so much more genuine and beautiful than Jar Of Hearts, it's a shame that it hasn't taken off - it hasn't had anywhere near the exposure that that song had though, the Heart playlisting ages before it charted, the 59p reduction etc...

Hi Rich

2. Hilltop Hoods feat Sia - I Love It (5) (CR-5-2)

3. Little Mix - Cannonball (NEW) (CR-3)

4. Rihanna feat Calvin Harris - We Found Love (1) (CR-21-4-3-4-7-5-2-3-5-1-1-1-4)

9. Gotye feat Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know (13) (CR-60-48-44-39-OUT-27-19-13-9)

10. Coldplay - Paradise (Re-entry) (CR-20-30-40-OUT-10) Snap X Factor Effect it has risen in my personal chart this week by so amount

12. Lloyd feat André 3000 and Lil' Wayne - Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) (7) (CR-26-26-25-7-12)

13. Drake feat Rihanna - Take Care (9) (CR-26-11-9-4-9-13)

14. Ed Sheeran - Lego House (11) (CR-14-16-18-14-9-3-1-3-1-1-6-8-11-14)

32. Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) (33) (CR-55-OUT-23-13-7-11-24-36-31-33-32)

33. Coldplay - Charlie Brown (NEW) (CR-33)

36. Florence + The Machine - No Light, No Light (Re-entry) (CR-30-21-15-OUT-36)

37. Little Boots feat Michael Woods - I Wish (NEW) (CR-37) Is this the new single

Thanks Martin!

Yeah, Paradise seemed a lot more euphoric live - it's had a bit of a strange chart run for me - all the tens

Not sure about the Boots song, just another 'buzz' single I guess...

Did you listen to the second video I posted by the way, Snakadaktal - Air, seems like the sort of thing you might like. Give it a listen if you get a chance...

Richard :D

4. Rihanna feat Calvin Harris - We Found Love (1) (CR-21-4-3-4-7-5-2-3-5-1-1-1-4)

6. Leona Lewis - Hurt (NEW) (CR-6)

7. The Saturdays - White Lies (4) (CR-18-16-4-7)

8. Freak Asylum - You Better Leave (2) (CR-4-2-2-8)

9. Gotye feat Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know (13) (CR-60-48-44-39-OUT-27-19-13-9) Really, REALLY don't get the fuss behind this terrible song. It annoys me it's getting such acclaim and everyone seems to love it!

10. Coldplay - Paradise (Re-entry) (CR-20-30-40-OUT-10)

11. Reece Mastin - Good Night (14) (CR-16-9-14-11)

12. Lloyd feat André 3000 and Lil' Wayne - Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) (7) (CR-26-26-25-7-12)

13. Drake feat Rihanna - Take Care (9) (CR-26-11-9-4-9-13)

14. Ed Sheeran - Lego House (11) (CR-14-16-18-14-9-3-1-3-1-1-6-8-11-14)

15. Rachel Platten - 1000 Ships (6) (CR-5-3-6-15)

16. Slow Moving Millie - Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want (8) (CR-32-14-10-8-16)

20. The Saturdays - Faster (15) (CR-25-27-15-20)

24. Rihanna - You Da One (19) (CR-10-10-15-19-24)

30. Lady Gaga - Marry The Night (26) (CR-30-32-OUT-68-OUT-35-27-9-12-22-26-30)

31. Roll Deep - Picture Perfect (27) (CR-27-31)

39. Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump (NEW) (CR-39)

Thanks Jonjo!

I have to disagree about the Military Wives song, I liked it on first listen and now love it, the vocals are nice I guess but it's the music that gets me - the strings, absolutely gorgeous imo. I love Little Mix but I'm generally bored of X Factor xmas #1's now, regardless of the act but yes, sooner ANYONE than another ruddy Facebook campaign, how is engineering the charts each year doing that any different to Simon Cowell doing it year after year? I can't wait for Little Mix's original stuff but I still think I slightly prefer Leona's A Moment Like This to Cannonball, that was my xmas #1 in 2006! Sound of the Underground remains the best ever winner's debut single of any TV show though.

Each to their own with Gotye, it's been a slow burner for me but I do adore it now! Really not getting why with Radio 1 support and coming off the back of a huge platinum single A Thousand Years is doing so badly, it's absolutely stunning! I know what you mean about the Sats, it REALLY worked live didn't it, the Travie backdrop was very impressive, as were all of the graphics actually throughout. Only heard this one new Diana song so far, will need to listen to the others...

Hey :D

Really lovin' Wherever You Are

LM's song is pretty good, I downloaded it, obv. prefer Matt's single, but those 2 are the only ones i have bought

New Little Boots song? :o

Thanks Regina, HOORAH I'm not alone in my love for Wherever You Are, I thought I was going crazy but I absolutely adore the music on it

Indeed, not sure where this Boots song has come from, I just stumbled across it on a blog!

37. Little Boots feat Michael Woods - I Wish (NEW) (CR-37)

39. Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump (NEW) (CR-39) The chorus is SO irratating, really catchy song though!

40. Amanda Fondell - All This Way (NEW) (CR-40) Absolutely LOVE her voice! I wasn't following Swedish Idol but I saw this on Scandipop, really like it!

I really need to give Slow Moving Millie's album a go, it sounds interesting! Great chart as always :D

Thanks Liam!

Cannonball isn't quite what I would have hoped for as Little Mix's debut single (GA got that SPOT on with Sound of the Underground) but I do like it a lot, I always liked the original and I like this cover even more, should definitely be an act to watch out for in 2012! Nice to hear you liking My Crown, it really is incredibly ABBA-esque! Mama Do The Hump is like a 2011 take on Cotton Eye Joe in some ways, the annoying chorus is quite reminiscent of parts of that - I can't get it out of my head though - Down With The Trumpets is unbeaten so far though!

Thanks Dre, I obviously love both, although obviously Little Mix are capable of and will bring out far better in the future - that said, I've always liked Cannonball and with a girlband and key change thrown into the mix I love it even more  Poor Sats, they've never really been a top tier girlband, it's just that they've had no competition - shame as they've released some excellent pop songs in the last few years.

I saw that that Shakira song was #1 in France, she's HUGE there though isn't she! I prefer party Shakira too, this won't be adding to her tally of 8 #1's in my chart but I do like it!

I'm so out of touch with new music. :( Lots of this stuff you could blog about! :D

I must hear that new Little Boots track though! :)

37. Little Boots feat Michael Woods - I Wish (NEW) (CR-37)

I haven't listened to your #1 yet. From the sounds of the pre-orders, it should be X-mas #1?

Cannonball is a good cover & certainly one of the better winner's singles. Not as great as the originals of SOTU by Girls Aloud and AMLT by Kelly Clarkson. Little Mix do seem like a promising girl group for 2012. Lord knows other than rock/indie acts, girl groups have had a rough few years on the charts (for the few that did breakthrough). Since The Saturdays struggled to fill that niche, maybe LM will do it?

Paradise must be Coldplay's 1st Top 10 for you. Great performance on X-Factor.

Born To Die is just as good as Video Games, maybe even better. With an amazing video to go with it, I would like to think it could go Top 5 in the UK.

Great chart as always!

1. Military Wives with Gareth Malone - Wherever You Are (37) (CR-37-1) I've not heard this, but looks a dead cert for #1 so I imagine I will soon. I like Gareth Malone though, he did the hilarious The Big Performance which is a pet fave for me and my flatmate

3. Little Mix - Cannonball (NEW) (CR-3) I've not downloaded this so no chart entry for me, it's not bad though! I wish they'd done as they did last year and picked a different song for each finalist though :(

6. Leona Lewis - Hurt (NEW) (CR-6) So sad she has to go back to doing ballad covers :( I didn't like her XF performance AT ALL, her lower range is dreadful  Not heard the studio version though...

7. The Saturdays - White Lies (4) (CR-18-16-4-7) I went to the gig on Friday... I have no idea if they sang this though, I got a little too drunk :drama: But I understand why everyone loves it now!

9. Gotye feat Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know (13) (CR-60-48-44-39-OUT-27-19-13-9) It is! It's headed for the top! :D

21. The Storm - My Crown (NEW) (CR-21) This is so very good, I heard it through Scandipop too

28. Mutya Buena - All B4 (32) (CR-32-28) I don't know anything about this!

35. Diana Vickers - Music To Make The Boys Cry (NEW) (CR-35) Very strong, very 80s

39. Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump (NEW) (CR-39) I don't like this at all, baffled as to how it's doing so well! I really liked their last two singles as well

Hey! My comments this week:

3. Little Mix - Cannonball (NEW) (CR-3) Best X Factor Winner's single in quite some time!

40. Amanda Fondell - All This Way (NEW) (CR-40) I see she won Swedish Idol. It's all a bit too Adele-lite for my liking :heehee:.

Thanks West, it's looking like Military Wives will be xmas #1 indeed, I adore it!

I agree about Cannonball, I loved both Kelly and Leona's versions of A Moment Like This but SOTU was a debut/winner's single to be proud of, absolutely excellent - still, GA were put together differently to the X Factor acts so there was more time to prepare a 'girlband song' in that instance. Hopefully Little Mix will be successful, and great.

Yep, Paradise is Coldplay's first top ten for me, Every Teardrop peaked at #11 and I'd only charted Christmas Lights before that, which went top 30 iirc, agreed about the performance.

I'd like to see Lana be one of the big stars of 2012, she ticks all of the boxes - for me at least, I know some people find her inauthentic but honestly this is a chart of my favourite music, not how authentic I perceive people to be

Thanks David!

1. I used to watch The Big Performance too  When Melanie C used to narrate it...I quite like Gareth Malone and I'm loving this, even if it's totally not the sort of thing that I usually chart...

3. I bought the CD single, I love it and have always enjoyed Cannonball as a song but indeed an original song or more suitable cover would have been better.

6. It's a bit of a shame but understandable after Collide not really working for her. My mum said the exact same thing about her lower range, I'm sure it used to be better when she was on X Factor though

7. They didn't sing it, sounds like you had a good night though even if you were too drunk to remember! It's a fantastic pop song, one of my album tracks of the year!

9. Haha, you never know - it could be the next Moves Like Jagger or The A Team, or it could suddenly start to fall again!?!

21. Indeed, definitely very very ABBA isn't it...

28. Neither did I until I stumbled across it in the Sugas AF, it's really surprisingly catchy actually and not as cheap sounding as most of her music is now :D

35. Agreed.

39. It's very catchy and cheeky I guess, I'm surprised it's doing SO well but I can see the appeal.

Hey! My comments this week:

40. Amanda Fondell - All This Way (NEW) (CR-40) I see she won Swedish Idol. It's all a bit too Adele-lite for my liking :heehee:.

Thanks Ghosty!

1. Haha, it quite possibly is, it was by far my most played song of the week and when it came down to it I decided that in fact it was indeed my favourite song of the week too - I'd be very happy to see it as the xmas #1!

3. Since A Moment Like This in my opinion, which was my 2006 xmas #1!

6. I know what you mean, the second half is euphoric and brilliant, I usually listen to it from the two minute onwards mark - the first half is definitely very sombre.

10. It really was wasn't it, I've never cared for Coldplay before but this era is excellent - I love the whole colour scheme of everything.

16. Same, it's a very strong album from start to finish actually - if I had a top 75 still I'd have charted about 4 or 5 more songs from it :D The Feels Like Heaven cover is lovely, more upbeat than the rest too - Dario G had a top 3 in my chart in 2002/3 (?) with a cover of the same song!

20. The album's definitely grown on me, it clicked massively when I saw them live to be honest, they sang everything apart from White Lies. Will definitely be amongst my top 20 albums of the year.

21. It seems quite possible doesn't it, I expect I'd be too over it by the time the next contest comes around to consider sending it but I'm sure it would do well...

22. It's gorgeous isn't it, took me a few listens actually, moreso than Video Games which I found very instant. The album is so far my most anticipated of 2012, well unless Delta FINALLY gets hers out...

37. Indeed! I already prefer it to Shake!

40. It's pleasant but I doubt it will go much further for me...

Great chart Rich :cheer: . Whens your EOY chart gonna be posted?

Thanks Rob, Wherever You Are is gorgeous, I'm so pleased to see somebody else liking it :D As is Love Is Christmas so make sure you do listen to it! Not sure where Paradise will go from here, possibly climb or might stick around, it's not going to fall I don't think...

Moves Like Jagger is excellent and will definitely be a contender for the top five in my EOY chart - which will begin to be posted on Xmas Eve I think :D And nope, the Little Boots song isn't a Stevie Wonder cover!
