December 17, 201113 yr Well Getter was my favourite entry of all last year, so they will have to come up with something outstanding to top that!
December 17, 201113 yr True, but so glad to see Mimicry back, The Storm was  (ignoring the fact that I sent it to UP and it cam last with nul points :nocheer:)
January 24, 201213 yr I've listened to all 20 of these now and like five of them (:nocheer:) - so for those with similar music tastes to me, check out these; Bon Voyage – Mia feat I.M.T.B Fight for Love – Janne Saar Mina jään – Lenna The Destination – Mimicry You're Not Alone – Birgit Õigemeel
January 24, 201213 yr I listened to them all the other day too, and noted down 7 of them to download - All those 5 plus Soundclear's A Little Soldier and Cat Eye's Ride. I was actually pretty impressed with the lineup overall though!
January 26, 201213 yr You're Not Alone is probably my favourite, not that I see it coming anywhere close to winning this NF, and it probably wouldn't do very well at Eurovision either  The strings are the highlight of course, the song proves that they work just as well in uptempo pop songs as they do in ballads  True, but so glad to see Mimicry back, The Storm was  (ignoring the fact that I sent it to UP and it cam last with nul points :nocheer:) Did it really? :o Shame I hadn't been participating in that one as I'd have prevented it from such shame, it hardly deserved nul points!
January 26, 201213 yr Yep :( It was my second contest, I came top 10 in my first with tweetastic Swedish indie-pop song Flowers by Frida (no not the one from ABBA). Having listened to most of these now, The Destination is my fav but Birgit is brill too, good to see Violina back, even if they haven't topped Maagiline Päev for me yet...
January 26, 201213 yr That's unbelievable, was it the first nul pointer ever in UP? I thought Ghosty took part in that one, if so I'm shocked that he gave it nothing :o I still can't believe we've never had a nul pointer in BJSC, thanks to Pavel who'll vote for literally any old crap (that means you Martina!)
January 26, 201213 yr Yep. First and only  But I don't think Ghosty was in at the time either.
January 26, 201213 yr Yep. First and only  But I don't think Ghosty was in at the time either. Oops  I guess indie forum + Eurovision (with the exception of Pavel) doesn't really mix but it's hardly that cheesy a song. Pretty sure I saw it in Ghosty's chart last year so I'm sure he would have voted for it had he been participating! I hope my UP entry this time does better than my bottom five debut SMASH but I won't hold my breath!
January 26, 201213 yr I'm sure I voted for Mimicry! I've participated in all the Unknown Pleasures and I most certainly would have voted for Mimicry, unless I made a mistake!
January 28, 201213 yr Yep, I definitely voted! I'm fairly sure it was a nul pointer, but it could have got one or two actually. Does no-one else like I Don't Know then? It's like David Guetta producing Glee... wDF_B4Obzeg
January 28, 201213 yr The production is alright but I'm not keen on the vocals and the hook seems a little limp.
January 28, 201213 yr Hmmm, I suppose your're right. I really like Rich and Martin's suggestions, apart from Mia which just sounds like a cold mess. A few people are accusing Birgit of plagarism of The Killers' Human, but I really don't hear it...
January 28, 201213 yr I think I'm liking Mia more based on a previous song of hers that I loved, but I have to say I was quite disappointed by this new track of hers - it's good, but I was expecting it to be a whole lot better! As far as Pop Maniacs goes, I find it really hard to listen to, the melody is a bit all over the place and the vocals are pretty weak :(
February 25, 201213 yr Bon Voyage was the best out of all these songs. I also loved Janne Saar. Unfortunately both of them were out in first week. Now I cheer for Birgit. Edited February 25, 201213 yr by The Girl
