Well, it took a second listen, I thought it was an uncoordinated mess the first time round.

However, it remains that, in terms of DJ Earworm: 2009>>>2010>>>2011. Probably the general quality of the year in general, but there still seems to be a little bit more structure to the former two also.

Still a mashup to rather like, I wasn't expecting it so early. Best part is usage of LMFAO in the last verse.

This is easily his best yet! The chorus actually works really well in the song and it doesn't feel like it's dragging out.
The weakest one, still it's listenable and I need to listen to it more than once or twice. The reason why is it so weak is the quality of the music this year imo. Hope the next year will bring some better music and remix (at least till the world ends)

Not enough 'Super Bass'! :(

Anyway, I don't the mass hype surrounding his mash-ups tbh. They all seem to sound like one big mess. I think I only like his 2009 one. These two aren't that good. His Capital mash-ups aren't particularly exciting either. When it comes to mash-ups I prefer Marc Johnce.

'I Want All the Gilrs (Who Run the World):

'Rolling Sassy Against Me':

Those mashups would be good Jonjo if I had any idea who that KAT GRAHAM bitch is!
She was in 'Honey 2'! I also read on one of the videos that she's in 'Vampire Diaries' (a quick imdb search tells me she plays someone called Bonnie Bennett) so you might know her from that. But 'I Want It All' is one of my favourite BJSC entries this year. I think it suits 'You Lost Me' and 'Run the World (Girls)' so well! 'Sassy' sounds terrible, but in the mash-up it sounds listenable!
It's basically all Katy Perry, quite disappointed by this though! I wish someone from the UK would do this!

It's all Katy Perry since it's supposed to represent the biggest hits of 2011 in the US.

Although he's strayed away from that this year. We Found Love, Till the World Ends and The Lazy Song shouldn't have been included, and Look At Me Now, What's My Name? and Just the Way You Are should've been included (but weren't).

What? Not including 'We Found Love' would be ridiculous! Isn't it on it's 6th or 7th week at number 1 over there?

I prefer Titus Jones. Fantastic Mash Up DJ

As for the new DJ Earworm mashup, it's better than his 2010 one, which was dull! Infact I love it, it's got a lot of energy in it.

He's been on a steady road downhill since his masterful 2008/2009 ones, but it's probably more reflective of the fact the years since then have been terrible. He's working on a par with his pretty dodgy 2007 one at the moment.

No, because it charted very low on 2011's year-end chart (for numerous reasons) and it will be in 2012's top 25, almost certainly. But then I suspect he won't use it in next year's mash-up because he's already used it heavily in this one.

He'll probably just have to give up on the whole "top 25" principle he had after this, since it's completely messed up now.

I agree. The songs he has to work with are pretty poor, especially this year. Everybody keeps going on about how good 2009's was, but I think any mash-up based around Boom Boom Pow would be nothing less than phenomenal.

Yeah, it'd probably go;

2009 > 2008 > 2010 > 2011 for me, but I do even like 2011, and still think he is MEGA talented.

This is a really good mash-up IMO.

But doesn't We Found Love represent 2011 far more than 2012? It will be getting most of its airplay in 2011 and most people will associate it with that year. I agree with Earworm when he says that Billboard's system has a few flaws, and getting the 25 biggest hits of 2011 (from his view) in the mashup is probably a better way of doing it.

It's alright, shows how easily so many of the year's big songs fit together. Would have been fun to have a section based on "Pumped Up Kicks" - maybe a breakdown?
This is one of the better ones. The last 2 were messes.

No, because using the Billboard system, "2011" ends in November, and "2012" has already started, which is why he has the mash-up out before the end of the year.

But anyway, he missed out songs like Look At Me Now, which was undeniably a massive hit in 2011, so if he does it from "his view" it will be flawed. As it will be from anybody's view. The biggest hits of 2011 from "my view" are songs like Black and Yellow, etc. because the people I associate with in daily life have all been obsessed with it, but that would be flawed, because a lot of people (e.g. 6 year-old girls) probably never heard that song. He should base it off a chart which works to try and be unbiased and gets data from lots of sources (Billboard bases it off things such as radio airplay, digital and physical sales, VEVO streaming).
