100 - Katie Sky - Sweet Sweet Melody

A new addition to my iTunes, a great little track, will be exciting to see how she pans out in 2012!

99 - Jedward - Lipstick

Pure cheese! And I love it! Lots of guilty pleasures popping up throughout the chart

98 - Cobra Starship - You Make Me Feel... (Feat. Sabi)

Really intrigued to see how Sabi pans out in 2011. Plenty of vegetables needing steamed, I'm sure. The track is cute, but got REALLY old.

97 - Nicole Scherzinger - Try With Me

A nice little number, it's great that she doesn't take herself or her music career too serious.

96 - Nadine Coyle - Sweetest High

Another one who doesn't really take the music career seriously. This is an ultimate guilty pleasure for me.

95 - Jenna Rose - My Jeans

Oh my gawd! I can't even fathom how much I love this song. WHO EVEN IS KEKE PALMER? Ahaaa.

94 - Florence + The Machine - Shake It Out

There will be some more Florence higher up, I won't lie, I'm very disappointed with "Ceremonials", after she appeared at Drake's show at the Apollo in January, I was very excited for new comings from Florence and she severely let me down.

93 - Emily Osment - Love Sick

Disney's answer to Lady Gaga. Aha. She's far better when driven by guitar tracks, but it's a fun song :)

92 - Kim Kardishian - Jam (Turn It Up)

Legendary. Flawless. #icant. The girl sounds bored! Such a guilty pleasure!

91 - Martin & James - All Over The News

A really intriguing Scottish duo, who I came across after they opened for Taylor Swift. The albums a bit samey, but I will deffo be looking into them more. There is something there.

I think that'll do for tonight :w00t:

90 - The Weeknd - The Morning

Whilst not directly a single, it was/is a favourite track of mine of the year (but I kept it lower because of it not really being a single). Great track, can't wait to hear more from them later this year!

89 - Junior Caldera - Can't Fight The Feeling (Feat. Sophie Ellis-Bextor)

The UK version of Nicole Scherzinger FINALLY released her album this year, and what a relief that was! This catchy tune was one to not miss out on

88 - Rihanna - Man Down

The first Rihanna of 2011 in my chart. The song really grew on me after the 'controversial' video. Great Island vibe, I'm disappointed she didn't bother pursuing the sound of "Talk That Talk".

87 - Lady Gaga - Marry The Night

The first of Gaga in my 2011. This is a fun, little camp number and really should have been the first single from the mess that is "Born This Way".

86 - Kelly Rowland - Down For Whatever (Feat. The WAVs)

Kelly Rowland's many attempt of a comeback came in this "On The Floor" rip off. And whilst I do enjoy the song, the amount of alcohol in my system had to adore this song is higher than her US chart positions.

85 - Andrea Lewis - Talk To Me (Feat. Simon Curtis)

Having had the pleasure of seeing Andrea/Ro/Simon live earlier this year, I was very excited to come across this little gem. Definitely got me through a cruise trip to Holland! ;)

84 - Christina Perri - Jar Of Hearts

A nice little song which got SO overplayed and old way before it's time, but it's nice to appreciate for what it is :)

83 - Ellie Goulding - This Love (Will Be Your Downfall)

My favourite track from the "Lights" CD, and it was sent to Radio1 for promotion (probably to push a few more copies of the CD). I met Ellie back in May and got on so very well, I told her this was my favourite track and coincidentally it was sent to Radio1. Coincidence? ;)

82 - Nicki Minaj - Right Thru Me

Such a pretty little song, the reason it's so low on my chart is I would probably consider it a 2010 track, yet I played it a lot at the beginning of this year, so, you know :)

81 - The Pretty Reckless - Just Tonight

Same as the previous effort, definitely some of my favourite tracks of 2010/2011!

80 - Rebecca Black - Person Of Interest

My ultimate 2011 guilty pleasure. Love RB!

79 - Lana Del Ray - Video Games

Definitely excited to check her out next year. Love the 29 tracks we've heard so far!

78 - Kelly Rowland - Lay It On Me (Feat. Big Sean)

Such a summer jam! Girl needs to check her texts!

77 - Drake - Marvin's Room

This is such a marmite track for me, one minute I hate it, next I love it!

76 - Beyoncé - Best I Ever Had

A great rehash of "Irreplaceable".

75 - Adele - Set Fire To The Rain

A great track. I think I overplayed it a little bit when the album came out as it lingered around my chart for a bloody long time. Great track and single, without a video!

74 - Diana Vickers - Music To Make The Boys Cry

One of my most anticipated comebacks of the year, this and "Kiss Of A Bullet" are very interesting. I'm not overly sure where they equate in terms of style for me, they seem very 80s. Very intrigued by her next era.

73 - Chris Brown - Beautiful People

Cheesy lyrics, but generally a great party track. I'm still raging the UK gave him a bigger year than Britney, when their promotion was so similar.

72 - Taylor Swift - Ours

A great little track, I'm in two halves over this track, firstly I'm raging about this being a single because it meant "Enchanted" or "Long Live" won't get videos! However it's such a great track and my favourite bonus track from the collection.

71 - Robyn - Call Your Girlfriend

The biggest find of 2011 for me was Robyn's "Body Talk" collection. So great. Will deffo check out more from her. The video is fantabulous, as well! And on a side note, why did she note release "U Should Know Better", such a TUNE!

70 - Leona Lewis - Collide

Such a great comeback track. It's such a shame it underperformed and she felt the need to release YET ANOTHER cover.

69 - Birdy - People Help The People

One of my greatest discoveries of the year. Love Birdy and her CD is in my top 10 faves of the year!

68 - JoJo - Diaster

Oh! She came back. I really hoped she was gonna stick with the "In The Dark" sound, but this song is still cute. Very "Too Little, Too Late"

67 - LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem

Such a great party track. I had the pleasure of seeing them live when opening for Ke$ha and that was one ultimate dance party, as for the song itself, me and the homos have our own routine!

66 - Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger (Feat. Christina Aguilera)

Now, this track is severely overrated for me. But perhaps it's the Britney stan in me whose bitter as hell. Saying that, I feel Maroon 5 are a waste in this track and it should just be an Xtina song.

65 - Rihanna - Cheers (Drink To That)

As ridiculous as it seemed to release another single from "Loud", this is the track I'd been gunning for as a single since the album had first leaked, so I was happy. And the video was cool!

64 - Stevie Nicks - Secret Love

One of my many idols made a comeback this year, and I had the great privilege of meeting the bitch. Great track, and it's just nice to hear new Nicks music! :)

63 - Melanie C - Think About It

What a welcome return to my chart and my ears - Mel C! I saw her live during her "Northern Star" days and have not been interested in her musically since, until this wee track popped out. I'm still yet to check out the album that followed it "The Sea".

62 - Glee Cast - Thriller/Heads Will Roll

Glee is such a guilty pleasure for me. Shame the writing got so annoying and predictable that I stopped watching. This will forever remain a guilty pleasure of mine. One of the highlights of the year? Meeting Dianna Agron!

61 - Beyoncé - Countdown

Such a great song and video. It's such a shame dear Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker was robbed in the making of the video :kink: .

  • Author

60 - David Guetta - Titanium (Feat. Sia)

Although not a proper single YET, I love it! So uplifting. A great rehash of "Firework" lyrically!

59 - Jessie J - Who You Are

Probably the only Jessie J song featuring her whaling that I can handle on repeat. It's a great and uplifting track. I would say keep it up. But you know. Imma hater.

58 - The Saturdays - All Fired Up

Without my homos, I wouldn't even know this song existed. It's great when holding 2x double vodkas, lime cordial and soda water and a hot guy is grindring on you ;)

57 - Nicola Roberts - Yo-Yo

Such a great lil' song. Wasn't an immediate favourite from the album, but it's all about that middle 8 for me (and after meeting her earlier this year as well). I'm practically next in line to join Girls Aloud ;)

56 - Joe Jonas - See No More

The dance music that wasn't. As a solo artist, Joe probably disappointed me the most this year. I was expecting "Beautiful People"-esque tracks and instead got an album full of "See No More"s. As a track it's great, and he was great opening for Britney. But as a whole, I was let down.

55 - Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

Call me dumb but I kindah love this song! And who doesn't love the song "Oh My Darling Clementine"? :kink:

54 - Glee Cast - Valerie

This is the highest Glee song in this chart for me, and there's a reason why. I love Naya! And her version of "Valerie" is so great. It has great memories for me as well because when I saw her do it live, my beautiful Heather Morris grabbed my hand (whilst being on stage). Ultimate heaven moment for me!

53 - Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)

There are two awesome things about this track - the sax breakdown and the video. Rebecca Black + Kathy Betty Perry. GENIUS  Without a doubt my favorite video of 2011!

52 - Ke$ha - Blow

This is such a fun and anthemletic track! It took a while to grow on me, but boy it sure did and her live set was epic!

51 - Rebecca Black - Friday

Without a doubt, my guilty pleasure of 2011. Girl needs to check her texts and release her album! I'm still waiting to find out WHICH SEAT SHE TOOK

50 - Avril Lavigne - What The Hell

Probably one of the most underrated tracks of the year. It had the possibility to go "Girlfriend" big, but I think label ignorance and lack of support really didn't help her. I'm still raging "Smile" was the follow up single.

49 - Jessie J - Do It Like A Dude

A year ago, I severely disliked this track and it did grow on me a lot. So good for her. I still think she's a terrible songwriter.

48 - Kate Bush - Wild Man

She came back. Treated me with two 'new' albums this year. This was the lead single from album 2 "50 Words For Snow". A great effort and nice to know that she continues to change up her style the only way Kate Bush can!

47 - Pixie Lott - What Do You Take Me For (Feat. Pusha T)

Everytime I listen to this song, I'm thinking All Saints circa 2000. It's a shame it didn't fulfill it's full potential, but oh well, an underrated gem. And haven't there been lots of them this year (-points at "Femme Fatale"-)

46 - Beyoncé - Party (Feat. Andre 3000)

Such a great song, whilst I feel the album "4" was very over the place with what it was trying to do, there are some gems on it (this track, for example). I love everything about it's release EXCEPT for the removal of Andre 3000 and replaced with J. Cole (I have no problem with J. Cole, I saw him live back with Drake in January) but the problem is Andre's rap is perfect. Stupid King B.

45 - Adele - Rolling In The Deep

Possibly the greatest comebacks for any artist. Such a catchy little tune ruined by overexposure.

44 - Olly Murs - Heart On My Sleeve

My favourite Olly song (and only one in the chart FYI). It's so cute and he performs it live so well (the first time I saw him live at G-A-Y Heaven). I'm kindah glad it's a little underrated.

43 - Trey Songz - Bottom's Up (Feat. Nicki Minaj)

My ultimate pussy popper. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Roman Zolanski get in me.

42 - Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath

My my my! What a surprise. It's such a good song. Where'd you go Nicole?

41 - Lil' Wayne - How To Love

Lil' Wayne is the artist I go to when there's no new hot jams out there, and this number is a very unusual/unique one for him. I'm yet to check out "Tha Carter IV".

  • Author

40 - David Guetta - Who's That Chick? (Feat. Rihanna)

Such a cute little tune, always preferred it to "Only Girl (In The World)". It's great in a nightclub, lemme tell you that!

39 - Emily Osment - Drift

Now this is a very unusual track, I love the sound. She should really go with a new album in vein of this!

38 - Cher Lloyd - With Ur Love (Feat. Mike Poesner)

Now I may be a fan of "Swagger Jagger", but even I was one of the "she's a one hit wonder" tyrade. So to my horror, when I discovered this song and I LOVE IT! I was disappointed by her X Factor performance, but I was by the show this year anyway.

37 - Drake - Make Me Proud (Feat. Nicki Minaj)

What a great track, I'm not going to say it, but I was disappointed by "Headlines" and on the first few listens... "Marvin's Room". But this really kicked up the notch for me, even though it's no "Up All Night", it's a great second coming.

36 - Florence + The Machine - What The Water Gave Me

This song will forever remain in my mind, I split water over my laptop keyboard and this was one of the songs I had to listen to via my iPhone and buy. Such a great song!

35 - Lady Gaga - The Edge Of Glory

This is the song of occupation for me. During her iTunes album countdown week, this was released the day we occupied our university. I sort of remember dancing hysterically to it.

34 - Michelle Branch - Loud Music

I can't even tally how many attempted comebacks this woman has had. Whilst the song grew on me, I'm still one of the many loyal fans waiting (with anticipated breath) for the release of a) her country album in full b) her next pop/rock album.

33 - Avril Lavigne - Wish You Were Here

Such a cute little song that is FINALLY seeing a little bit of success stateside! By this time next year, I'll expect a Avril & David Guetta duet of some sort. I'm sure of it!

32 - Freelance Whales - Generator (First Floor)

Dear Starbucks, thankyou for introducing me to my 32nd favourite song of the year!

31 - Nicola Roberts - Lucky Day

One of my favourite moments of the year - her CD signing. She called me original, but now now, I'm not going to go on a vanity streak! :P

  • Author

30 - P!nk - f***in' Perfect

Even though she only released one song in 2011, it was a bloody amazing one. Very uplifting and great. I cannot wait for her comeback!

29 - Jennifer Lopez - Papi

One of the messiest release I ever did see, it clearly should've been the second single from the "LOVE?" campaign, yet her idiot record company decided they wanted to cater to the urban crowd, yet they sent a pop song with a rap verse. This was released messily after. And don't get me started on the video! But at least I know the routine :kink:

28 - Clare Maguire - The Last Dance

The one to look out for in 2011 for me. I managed to sneak my way into her album launch party, partying with her, Marina & Ellie Goulding. Fabulous voice. Fabulous single, and the album is good. A bit shoddy in some places. I'm excited to see what'll become of her.

27 - Selena Gomez & The Scene - Love You Like A Love Song

One of my most anticipated releases of the year, after not really enjoying "Who Says" (saying that, the Spanish version is simply define!), I was not overly happy with this song. And whilst it has grown on me, it is definitely one of her many disappointments single wise (and don't get me started on those live performances).

26 - Beyoncé - Run The World (Girls)

Such a strange song. When it first leaked, I loved it. Got bored of it, and now I like it again. It's better as a drunk club song. I'm still trying to work out WTF happened with the album. It had clear singles, but her and her obsession with music videos ruined that. I mean "Dance 4 You" really?!

  • Author

25 - Britney Spears - I Wanna Go

Such a summer anthem! I wish it had been a bigger success, requesting it in clubs was an annoying disappointment, and everyone seemed to know it at Heaven. Awfully strange.

24 - Rihanna - California King Bed

Such a great single! I feel it was released at the wrong point, and I was so terribly distracted by "Man Down" and it's video. Very underrated!

23 - Lady Gaga - Judas

This is such an underrated gem, it really brought my interest for Gaga, after (in my opinion) the flop that was "Born This Way".

22 - Adele - Someone Like You

I love Adele! Such a great song, but I much prefer the live version and the lack of exposure would be better. I still love that when I ask people what their fave Adele song is, and I reply "Hometown Glory" their response is WUT?!

21 - Simon Curtis - Flesh

My beautiful little queen has FINALLY made a debut on my chart with the dirtiest song of the year IMHO. So fun live and he's a wonderful gem. Even if RA did disappoint me slightly!

  • Author

20 - Katy Perry - E.T.

Now this is an unusual story, when it first leaked alongside "California Gurls", I instantly disliked it, but when the album version leaked, I LOVED it. It's such a classy, electropop track. And the video's cute too. But may I note, I fail to acknowledge the Kanye West remix. Cheap COP OUT.

19 - Taylor Swift - Mean

This is such a catchy tune, great for summer. I was really pissed that she didn't do it live in March at The o2. But it's still a great song! One of my faves from "Speak Now".

18 - Ro Danishei - Unlove Pill

Such a great tune, from one of my favourite ladies of the year. But so much for the second album coming out in September 2011 :P

17 - Birdy - Shelter

A girl at work recommended this little gem to me, and ever since then I've been obsessed. She's got such a great voice and her adaptation of this track is a beautifully haunting track!

16 - Rihanna - S&M (Feat. Britney Spears)

I fail to even acknowledge the original version, because for me, this owns life. The phoned in vocals from Ms. Spears completely OWN Rihanna. I'm in tears just remembering the beautiful tour performance by Brit as well in comparison to the truly embarrassing performance below!
