Every time we play a small team we get the same old result, once or twice is unfortunate but it happens all the time when it comes to Harry, Harry is great if we are playing a top 6 team, stick him in against a crap team then that crap team suddenly becomes Brazil

Trust me you don't want to sack him. Who could you possibly get who is better? Don't forget the last time Spurs did this they got Ramos and we were almost attending a Spurs relegation party...

The Champions League will be Spurs downfall, won't finish Top 4 this season. It's the price that comes with success. Just something you have got to accept.

Straight swap with Capello ? Harry for England and Fab for Spurs ?

Capello has a great track record at club level

If pigs could fly, then perhaps yes.

But that's DREAM LAND TALK. Maradona on the other hand...

Don't be so sure, at his age would he need the hassle of Italy or Spain again ? especially the latter where if you lose 2 games in a row you seem to lose your job plus he knows Spurs players well and is reported to be friends with Levy so it is not as unlikely as it seems

Capello will retire after England. What else could he possibly do, really? There is absolutely no chance of it ever happening, ever. I would gladly stick all of my savings on the odds, just because it will be easy money.

If Levy sacks Harry then it just proves he is a complete and utter twat who knows nothing about football. Rome wasn't built in a day.

I want to see Harry succeed at Spurs but he seems incapable of motivating the team for any games other than against the really big teams

We struggle against the likes of Wolves, Stoke, West Brom, Wigan, West Ham, no doubt Blackpool will beat us, Harry just can't seem to motivate the team unless they are playing top opposition

First league defeat for Carlisle United against an impressive Bournemouth today. :nocheer:

For me, Brighton have been a bit of a surprise package in that league. You have the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic as well as another pre-season favourite for going up in Southampton.

Two more sides which have impressed me so far are Bournemouth (no hard feelings) and Rochdale.

Very pleased with a point, and with the performance.

But what is it about Sunderland that we keep conceding fluke goals? Seriously? Goals like today happen to other teams maybe what, once or twice a season? That's two bizarre, flukey goals we've conceded in the space of a week

Brighton finished last season very strongly. Gus Poyet seemed to take a while to grow into the manager's job but he's now doing very well. They move into their new stadium at the start of next season. Part of me really wants that to be in the Championship but I'm still a bit nervous about that prospect as a lot of teams have struggled in their first season in a new stadium.

I've been more surprised by how well Bournemouth (my local team) have done. Because of a lengthy transfer embargo they still have pretty much the same team that won promotion last season. Eddie Howe has done an absolutely fantastic job as manager.

Very pleased with a point, and with the performance.

Unlike Sunderland's winning goal against Liverpool last season scored by B Ball

Well going from your posts in the last month he'd last about that long at Spurs too! You're incredibly fickle, if Spurs fans are like you then I hope Redknapp does leave and you start to rot...

To be fair, within the rules of the game the goal should count. Turner screwed up massively and fathead can just stop moaning...seriously, he's almost as bad as Wenger!

Where did I say it shouldn't have?

All I said was that it was a bizarre, flukey goal that wouldn't happen to any team but us

Yes, the one I mentioned earlier :P

Ohhh oh yeah, the beachball a Liverpool fan threw onto the pitch. How could I forget? I mean, it's not like Sky went on and on and on and on about the fucking thing. Regardless of how it may or may not have aided Bent's goal last season i'd rather forget about it.

I've no idea why Liverpool fans kick up such a stink about it, they should be thankful because it took all the attention away from how god awfully piss-poor they were in that match.

Regardless of who through it, it still shouldn't have counted. But yes it is in the past, it happened, and unfortunately whenever Liverpool play Sunderland, it will be all that is mentioned by the media...

Poulsen has to be one of the worst players i've ever seen. I don't even think he would get in to a Championship team. Too slow, too careless and most of all, too average and not needed. Not surprising Liverpool played so much better once he'd gone out.

Bolton draw with Man Utd.

Talk about a disastorous weekend for the top 3 clubs. The Chelsea fans must be loving this.
