Her debut was on August 18, 1973 at her brother's wedding. She was only 5 years old. She was very nervous before she took the microphone at the wedding reception but it passed quickly and once she started singing she didn't wanna stop.

She got a great reception from the audience and it made her realise that she wanted to become a performer.

Not many but her hubby/manager did see a big star in her as he took a 2nd mortgage on his house to finance her first album. Thank god for Rene Angelil
