Yeah, I think Breathing definitely sounds like european dance music. I also think it sounds like Wonderful Life by Hurts (Scott Mills used to play this version on Floorfillers a couple of years ago):

 

 

It also reminds me of Beautiful People by Chris Brown, which is also europop.

Breathing is SO much better than It Girl and Fight For You. In fact, along with Don't Wanna Go Home, it's one of the only two songs on that awful album that I'd go back to!

 

What different taste we have. :lol: I'm the opposite. I agree the album is awful, though. I've tried listening to it several times but the songs are dreadful. His debut was so good, too. :( 'Dumb' is possibly one of the worst album tracks i've ever heard.

I agree with Bray about Midnight City. Well kind of, only on the overrated bit :lol: It is very good and I would like it to be a big hit, but it's nowhere near as good as everyone makes out!

Midnight City is all kinds of amazing. I had a long conversation about it with a friend today (and I don't often do that), and listened to it again for the first time in AGES, and it's still as perfect as it was at the beginning. Come on, be the big hit you deserved to be, M83!

Domino #1

At last - 'Domino' now on track to become Jessie J's second number-one single in the UK; great to see her success continuing into 2012 - rather than deflating after breakthrough year (which sadly seemed to happen to Ellie Goulding).

'Domino' has actually grown on me loads now :wub: Should get the official #1 now it's there on iTunes, I just pray for decent sales :P This year has started off very well for #1s, especially if SHM get there next week.

Video Games instrumental playing on CBB. The song is so flat and dull, but i think that's why i'm starting to realky like it!! :o

So, so glad that Jessie is Number 1! And I'm not surprised that Lloyd has gone up - I think they played it on all 4 day shows on Radio One today.

Ellie made the move to go to America though, although the song 'lights' did flop, it didn't get any promo and her record label seemed to make no attempt at pushing her again, they got too obsessed with America which is finally starting to see results.

If "Summit" with Skrillex takes off it'll give her a good platform to launch her second album from. It'll be the second time her commercial fortunes have been saved by someone else's song, the first being "Your Song" of course. I actually thought that the other new songs on "Bright Lights" weren't particularly interesting, the first half of the standard album is very good though.
