June 7, 201213 yr On the one hand, it's wonderful that djcharly's Euro Singles Hot 100 is so influential that even Europe's biggest music channel is using it... On the other hand, I want MTV Europe's chart to really be done by MTV Europe and not copied from someone else! You can compare this time as well: http://www.charly1300.com/eurosingles/eurosingles236.htm The only difference is that for some inexplicable reason MTV Europe has omitted "Princess Of China" - which was in the chart last week!?...

June 17, 201213 yr Yes, it looks like this time the chart-makers again suffered from a lack of inspiration... I hope there will be much more movement in the next edition... and, most importantly - that it will be an ORIGINAL chart and not a copy!
June 17, 201213 yr Surely Loreen 'Euphoria' will enter next week? It's become one of the most successful Eurovision winners going to no. 1 in many different countries, it'd be a shame to see the track miss out. Also to echo Euphorique's earlier comment, I'm sure it's also just a matter of time before Tacabro enter with 'Tacatá'.

June 22, 201213 yr Actually, "Back In Time" by Pitbull and "Whistle" by Flo Rida are re-entries. Anyway, compare this to this edition of djcharly's Euro Singles Hot 100: http://www.charly1300.com/eurosingles/eurosingles238.htm The differences are extremely small, one of the most notable is that "Euphoria" by Loreen is number 7 there. When the chart-makers of MTV European Top 20 copied the chart, they placed "Euphoria" at number 11 because it doesn't have an official video yet so they wouldn't be able to play it when they broadcast the Top 10 of the chart on MTV Europe...
June 24, 201213 yr Why don't they change it to MTV European Top10 then if they dont play the full chart? Kinda stupid.
June 28, 201213 yr 01 01 Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe 02 03 Flo-Rida - Whistle 03 02 Fun ft/ Janelle Monae - We Are Young 04 11 Loreen - Euphoria 05 07 Maroon 5 ft/ Wiz Khalifa - Payphone 06 05 Train - Drive By 07 04 Gotye ft/ Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know 08 08 Coldplay ft/ Rihanna - Princess Of China 09 NE Cheryl - Call My Name 10 06 Rihanna - Where Have You Been 11 12 Gusttavo Lima - Balada 12 10 Rudimental - Feel The Love 13 13 Alex Clare - Too Close 14 NE Usher - Scream 15 09 Jennifer Lopez ft/ Pitbull - Dance Again 16 14 Nicki Minaj - Starships 17 15 Pitbull - Back In Time 18 NE Tacabro - Tacata 19 16 Die Toten Hosen - Tage Wie Diese 20 19 Simple Plan ft/ Sean Paul - Summer Paradise
June 28, 201213 yr This time we have a total copy of djcharly's Euro Singles Hot 100: http://www.charly1300.com/eurosingles/eurosingles239.htm At least it's nice that "Euphoria" by Loreen is at number 4! Has anyone by any chance been able to watch the chart on MTV Europe? I'd like to know if they played the live performance from Eurovision!
July 4, 201213 yr I wont even bother with posting the new chart because its absolutely RIDIC. Oh, you must Dré. Let's us have a laugh. :D
July 5, 201213 yr Here is the latest edition of European Top 20: 20 Nicki Minaj - Starships 4 Down 19 Gusttavo Lima - Balada 8 Down 18 Pitbull - Back In Time 1 Down 17 Tacabro - Tacata 1 Up 16 Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know 9 Down 15 DJ Fresh & Dizzee Rascal - The Power RE-ENTRY 14 Alex Clare - Too Close 1 Down 13 Train - Drive By 7 Down 12 Maroon 5 - Payphone 7 Down 11 Precision Tunes - Payphone NEW 10 Rihanna - Where Have You Been Stay => 9 Usher - Scream 5 Up 8 Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band - Sing NEW 7 Loreen - Euphoria 3 Down 6 Rudimental - Feel The Love 6 Up 5 Coldplay & Rihanna - Princess Of China 3 Up 4 Fun. - We Are Young 1 Down 3 Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe 2 Down 2 Cheryl Cole - Call My Name 7 Up 1 Flo Rida - Whistle 1 Up I don't think the chart is that absurd apart from the debut of Precision Tunes... This must be the only song in the history of MTV European Top 20 that not only doesn't have an official video but it doesn't even have a live performance! MTV Europe would never be able to play it... It's even more remarkable that Precision Tunes are one place above the Maroon 5 original! It's incredible to see the two versions of "Payphone" next to each other... I don't believe such a situation will ever happen again in the chart... Otherwise, I'm actually quite happy with this edition of European Top 20 - it's certainly not a copy of any other chart!
July 5, 201213 yr Oh MTV Europe!!! Never ceases to amaze me. Shame the HIT30 thread doesn't generate more discussion when it's clearly a more accurate chart. :P
July 6, 201213 yr I think its one of the worst charts I've seen of MTV Europe. I'd rather they copy Charly's chart than this absolute mess.
July 11, 201213 yr So last week someone else probably did the chart because all those ridiculous new entries have dropped out... thank god! 01 12 Maroon 5 - Payphone 02 03 Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe 03 01 Flo-Rida - Whistle 04 04 Fun - We Are Young 05 05 Coldplay & Rihanna - Princess Of China 06 07 Loreen - Euphoria 07 13 Train - Drive By 08 16 Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know 09 02 Cheryl - Call My Name 10 10 Rihanna - Where Have You Been 11 19 Gusttavo Lima - Balada 12 18 Pitbull - Back In Time 13 09 Usher - Scream 14 NE Katy Perry - Wide Awake 15 NE Oceana - Endless Summer 16 17 Tacabro - Tacata 17 14 Alex Clare - Too Close 18 RE Simple Plan - Summer Paradise 19 NE Will I Am - This Is Love 20 RE Jennifer Lopez - Dance Again
July 11, 201213 yr In fact, I'd say that top 20 is a better continuation of the chart a fortnight ago. Inconsistancy strikes!!! Let's put it to the test. :D (this weeks chart with LW positions of two weeks ago) 01 (05) Maroon 5 - Payphone 02 (01) Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe 03 (02) Flo-Rida - Whistle 04 (03) fun - We Are Young 05 (08) Coldplay & Rihanna - Princess Of China 06 (04) Loreen - Euphoria 07 (06) Train - Drive By 08 (07) Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know 09 (09) Cheryl - Call My Name 10 (10) Rihanna - Where Have You Been 11 (11) Gusttavo Lima - Balada 12 (17) Pitbull - Back In Time 13 (14) Usher - Scream 14 (NE) Katy Perry - Wide Awake 15 (NE) Oceana - Endless Summer 16 (18) Tacabro - Tacata 17 (13) Alex Clare - Too Close 18 (20) Simple Plan - Summer Paradise 19 (NE) Will I Am - This Is Love 20 (15) Jennifer Lopez - Dance Again Hmm!!!
