January 9, 201213 yr LORDY, this is going to take quite some effort! I will delete or mock ones I do not approve of, and give a scale of WUBS (1- I like, 3 - I LOVE) to let you know how I feel. 01. Adele – Someone Like You    02. Beyoncé – 1+1 < FAR TOO HIGH. If I was to rank the tracks on 4, this song wouldn't make the Top 5. 03. Nicole Scherzinger – Don't Hold Your Breath    04. Nicki Minaj – Super Bass   05. Kelly Rowland ft. Lil Wayne – Motivation 06. Beverley Knight – One More Try < Ridiculous choice. You are truly a loon. 07. Britney Spears ft. Nicki Minaj & Kesha – Till The World Ends    08. Emeli Sandé – Heaven 09. Melanie C – Think About It 10. Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera – Moves Like Jagger    11. Calvin Harris ft. Kelis – Bounce 12. Adele – Set Fire to the Rain    13. Adele – Turning Tables  41. Parade – Perfume < PMSL LMFAO 42. Rihanna ft. Britney Spears – S&M 43. The Saturdays – All Fired Up 44. Leona Lewis – Collide < This came quite high on my list too. Looking back, it was poor. 45. Jennifer Lopez – Papi 46. Professor Green ft. Emeli Sandé – Read All About It 47. Nicole Scherzinger – Try With Me 48. Lady GaGa – Born This Way 49. Cher Lloyd ft. Kim has such a dull, bland, coma-inducing voice and this song emphasises that to great effect. 81. Katy Perry ft. Kanye West – E.T. 82. Alex Gaudino ft. Kelly Rowland – What A Feeling 83. Melanie C – Weak 84. Wynter Gordon – Dirty Talk 87. LMFAO ft. Natalia Kills – Champagne Showers  88. Nero – Me & You  89. Jessie J ft. B.o.B – Price Tag 91. Adele – Rumour Has It 92. Calvin Harris – We Found Love  100. Taio Cruz ft. Kylie Minogue – Higher  Largely, a very strong list and not as predictable as I thought yours would be. Albums: I've deleted the albums I haven't heard and the ones I don't like - leaving us with this list: 01. Beyoncé – 4 - Superb. The amount of ballads and uptempos is perfect and I think she does them both so well. Pretty much a collection of my favourite Beyonce songs on one album. 02. Adele – 21 <> My album of 2011 - almost flawless and containing some of THE moments of last year. 03. Beverley Knight – Soul UK < The worst album I've heard from her. A handful of songs worthy of repeat listens. 05. Melanie C – The Sea < Meh. Apart from the singles this is pretty forgettable - although better than I expected. 06. Lady Gaga – Born This Way < Ignore the fact that it was hyped to the max, and it's a pretty strong album. From anyone else it'd be a career highlight. 08. Nicole Scherzinger – Killer Love < Poor album with five AMAZING songs on it. It'll be interesting to see how much I enjoy the gig considering. 10. The Saturdays – On Your Radar < Very good album, despite my initial doubts. There's not a song on it I dislike. 12. Britney Spears – Femme Fatale < My second favourite of album of 2011 which returned me to fangirl status for a few months. I love this sound for her. 13. David Guetta – Nothing But The Beat < VERY strong album. A few turkeys but when he gets it right, he gets it SO right. Jennifer Hudson, Sia and Nicki Minaj are highlights. 17. Rebecca Ferguson – Heaven < Beautiful album. Nothing too commercial on it but lots of soulful balladry ala Corinne is never a bad thing. 19. Sophie Ellis-Bextor – Make A Scene < Disappointing album. She really didn't bring it like I thought she would. Quite weak and forgettable.
January 9, 201213 yr Beverley is not number one. What a ridiculous chart. It's like AaronTM we knew DISAPPEARED.

She really didn't bring it like I thought she would. Quite weak and forgettable. 02. Far too high?! Pfft! It was a close run in the top 2, she almost beat Adele! This is a beautiful song, oozes emotion and the guitar is haunting. Love it. (obvz.) Easily the album highlight. 06. Oi! You should be proud of me for not including it in my top 5! :P 21. AHAHAHA! #DreFail. 33. 41. Leave Parade alone! I still think they're amazing. :( 44. It wasn't as good as it could have been, but still a decent stab at dance/pop for her! 52. Ya, for real, really! 79. Leave Kimberley alone!!! One day she will adopt me. This was much better than "Candy"! Haha, thanks! I'm not ALWAYS predictable. I like to think it was a semi-diverse list. 01. Yep! I have to agree. Take away "Start Over", "Rather Die Young" and "I Was Here" and replace them with some classic Beyonce and you have the perfect album from her. 03. I forget which albums you've heard, but it is probably her weakest. :( 05. Pfft! "Burn", "Drown", "Enemy" and "Stupid Game" are also brilliant. 06. Agreed really. Without the hype and it belonging to GaGa, I'd probably rate it higher. 08. There's a few more than five!!! Hopefully you enjoy that gig. ha. 10. Agreed! I feel like it might deserve to be higher, it's just a bit new to me still. 12. I initially thought she sounded like a robot on every song, but there's some serious tuneage in there and the tour made me appreciate it. 17. Yes! I don't think she's quite as lyrically deep as Corinne, but her songs and voice are almost as beautiful. <3 19. :o I love it! DIAL MY NUMBER!!! Thanks for taking the effort to reply! Beverley is not number one. What a ridiculous chart. It's like AaronTM we knew DISAPPEARED. I'm sorry! :( She released an album of cover versions, I couldn't justify putting her at #1! She only had one #1 single in my chart last year too!!! :o

January 12, 201213 yr Author Hey Aaron, my top 40 comments; 01. Adele – Someone Like You Deserved #1, definitely the defining song/artist of the year 07. Britney Spears ft. Christina Aguilera – Moves Like Jagger Great to see this top ten although iirc you were charting it really high way before everyone else! 40. Ed Sheeran – You Need Me, I Don't Need You Nice to see this sneak in, hugely underrated 01. Yup! It couldn't go to anyone else really. I almost gave it to Beyoncé, as this seemed predictable, but my heart said it had to go to Adele. Brilliant song, lots of memories and stuff attached to it too. 07. Oh yes, I love both versions too! I copied the general list from my chart spreadsheet, so they got credited. I think they helped cement it as a track of 2011. I never expected a Britney song in my year-end top 10, she's not usually that sort of artist for me! 10. Yeah, it feels like a predictable addition to the top 10, but I was loving it when it was a US hit. Was thrilled to see it get a release, I was expecting a 24-43-67-OUT type run for it, never in a million years did I expect it to be a year end million seller! 40. Agreed! I think it's a shame it'll go on to be forgotten about, I love the rap side to him!
