Did anyone see that in the Amserdam tournament were Roo got sent off in his first game back after the Portugal fiasco. Roo got a straight red for 'elbowing' someone in the face, which Ascunsiao (sp?) did minutes earlier only to get a warning :rolleyes: Plus it's a friendly in which people NEVER get sent off, never mind a straight red. The ref was blates just chasing headlines and trying to make a name for himself. Luckily Roo got off with it but he could've missed the first 3 games of the Premiership over it :rolleyes: Another case of sh*t refereeing.

What a complete joke of a decision by the referee.

I didn't watch the game, but I heard about in SSN and Rooney should never have been sent off. I think the whole fiasco at the world cup though has given Rooney a real bad reputation amongst refs after what happened at the world cup.

 

To add to United's problems as well Carrick is gonna miss the start of the season.
