The X Factor finalists WERE credited with the years, were they not?

I don't think so. I remember seeing the discographies on the Chart Show thread when 'Wishing On A Star' was charting and 'Hero', 'You Are Not Alone', 'Heroes' and 'Wishing On A Star' were all under the same "artist".

I am really surprised to see Kelly at #6 on iTunes :o. I honestly thought it'd do an "I Do Not Hook Up" or worse but it appears that she's turned this era around. Admittedly though she did get a #1 single in the 'All I Ever Wanted' era but after the flops of the next two singles, I thought it was pretty much over. X Factor probably played a large part in her being back in the public eye which is no bad thing. But more specifically, I'm surprised 'What Doesn't Kill You' is so high up already. Clearly it's a song people connect with!

Interesting to see the new Bruce Springsteen song doing so well, considering 'Working On A Dream' didn't produce any hits at all - I guess it's because it's OA/OS (or is it not?)

Great to see No Light, No Light finally break the top 100, sure took its time though (has it been performed somewhere else? Ceremonials is suddenly back in the top 3 albums). Second version has dropped to the mid-200s but there's now some hope it could continue their top 60 streak :P

Derülo's new one seems to be doing quite well already, I wonder if it could be bigger than 'Fight For You'? I haven't heard it yet but I assume it doesn't have any sample hijinks this time :P

Gotye nearing the top 10 :D I'd love to see him go top 10 soon but preferably not knocking out Coldplay ofc.

I hope What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) doesn't outpeak Mr. Know It All :( I do like it but MKIA is far better.

Charlie Brown in the top 300 already is a decent sign, I'd like it to go at LEAST top 40.

Has my iTunes reverted an hour or so or is Springsteen already down to #44 and Gotye back down to #13? :(

Working On A Dream :P and it is yeah, selling on name alone really. It is good though.

Shit, I put 'Working' first then I thought 'oh wait, that's the Empire Of The Sun album, better avoid that faux pas!' <_<

I actually like DeRulo's new song. I haven't forgiven him for talking over Robin S yet.

Also, I saw Gotye get some play on MTV Rocks yesterday. Its starting...

do people actually buy the hardest ever fake thinking its the real one? :L

Some people probably genuinely do  But most people probably do the sense and just can't wait, so buy a fake version to tide them over I guess.

Does anyone know when Glee is back on? thanks :)

Because there's been so many delays, they're waiting to air it on Sky until they can show an uninterupted run of the final 12 episodes of this season - there's another break next week but they should probably air Yes/No (the episode show this week in the US) on Sky then.

I can't disagree with this statement enough.

I just heard Gotye on Capital! :o Before it even went top 10 on iTunes aswell, that's pretty good by their standards.
Is Gotye now top 10 on iTunes? :o How very pleasing (if it is). :D

No, not yet. I was just saying that the general rule is Capital will play anything that goes top 10 on iTunes. But they've played Gotye's song before it's got in there, so they must be eager to play it.

I actually checked, and they've gone all the way and playlisted it, so they've probably been playing it for a few days already, which would explain why it's climbed so fast.

I don't know why people are worrying about the song so much though. It's clearly going to be massive, based on its success in other countries last year (and unlike Alors on danse, it's actually in English) and it's not exactly climbing slowly.

EDIT: Capital have Alyssa Reid, Breathe Carolina, Nadia Ali, Rio and Stooshe on their playlist aswell.

Well, Gotye is now #1 on Ireland's iTunes so hopefully the UK will follow suit in the coming weeks. Has the video been added to any of the playlists (ie; The Box, Chart Show TV, etc...).
