Posted January 13, 201213 yr Just looking through the nominations and I noticed that Best Live Act is missing again??? This is the second time Take That would have won the award but it was scrapped in 2010 for a Best Performance of 30 Years award and it's not there at all this year.

This is the second time Take That would have won the award but it was scrapped in 2010 for a Best Performance of 30 Years award and it's not there at all this year. In fairness - there are other acts that will be missing out - not just Take That. I saw Arctic Monkeys lasat year - and their concerts were excellent as well. Besides - as good as the Progress concert I went to was - hand on heart - it wasn't really as good as The Circus.
January 17, 201213 yr Author Yeah I agree that Circus was better as it flowed more consistently. However Progress broke every record around for a UK tour so it would have easily won it if it was still around

January 23, 201213 yr Im in agreeance on the importance of the live award, it is a true testiment of talent and it is crazy it is now overlooked, who ever made the decision to drop the award should be dropped from the academy in my opinion.
