Precisely! It's not sour grapes in the slightest but when fans of one artist effectively try and rig the poll it suggests they're taking it a little too seriously.

The Will Young forum is probably the most active artist forum on here. More active members tends to lead to more votes. :P Many didn't bother to vote but those who did have the right to vote for Will or Jealousy if they choose.

Of course they do, my point was that (as far as I'm aware) the Will Young forum was the only one to post a topic asking its members to vote in this, so I assumed it would have a fairly profound effect on results.

Fair point. :) Then again the 4 nearest challenges, all being fairly new to the music business don't have a forum because there ain't enough interest on here to warrant one.

Perhaps you can explain how the hell fans can rig a poll? By asking for fans to vote? wasn't that the whole idea of the flipping thing in the first place, to vote for your favourite? Was it not one member one vote? or in my case, one member, couldn't be bothered to vote, because call me Mystic Meg, but I just knew there'd be someone shouting fix if Will won.

Why dont we all just agree that the artists with the highest amount of loons will win. In fact, rename the award to Most Looned Over Male, Most Looned Over Female, etc...

The 'loons' take it a bit further (ie Olly Murs fans wouldn't come out in force to vote en mass in this poll but the Will Young ones will). Not saying there's anything wrong with liking an artist so much (Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, The Saturdays, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood for myself) but that is undeniably why he won.

 

Anyway, as I said above, at least the winner was deserving :P

 

OK Cool. Yeah worthy winner. Mind you this is nothing compared to what is going on, on Twitter right now with "Directioners" trying to get people to vote in the BRIT awards LOL. Twitter should have an age limit LOL :angry:
