04 - Yes, and about time too! I bought the 2x12" package of this and Battlegrounds. Panic actually sounds better on vinyl than on mp3 weirdly :lol:

13 - Yeah, I got the repackaged album a couple of weeks back! I mainly got it for this track as I love it and couldn't find it in HQ anywhere!

18 - I think you might be right there. It may well have been one too many!

29 - I like it a lot, up until the breakdown where it descends into what is essentially just noise :lol:

35 - Well it's nice, but it's got nothing on The Secret Is Love (at the moment) and I do prefer a number of songs to it in MGP. She does have a very good voice though, and the performance helped it's position here for sure.

44 - I can see it doing well too!

60 - It's very disappointing given the songwriters behind it, but it was still quite a decent DMGP entry.

 

DMGP was far better on the whole than MGP, in my opinion, but the MGP compilation may also become an Album of the Week at a later date.

02 - I think I'd do the same if they fail to pick this song. It must surely landslide it in Cyprus tomorrow night!

08 - I'm pleased with the eventual winner, but this was such a lovely track. Her dress was pretty shocking though :lol:

16 - It's a very strong song, but Norway do tend to shun the more poppy entries in favour of songs which are either MOR or folky.

29. You've summed up the majority of dubstep as a genre nicely there in the second half of the sentence :P

35. It was a really strong performance imo, flawless vocals just like Nadine had.

 

I felt quite the opposite, I only really cared for 4 or 5 songs in DMGP, I like almost all of them on the MGP album to some extent :o A real turn up for the books as I thought that the last two years were very poor for MGP.

I felt quite the opposite, I only really cared for 4 or 5 songs in DMGP, I like almost all of them on the MGP album to some extent :o A real turn up for the books as I thought that the last two years were very poor for MGP.

01 - Or maybe someone spotted in my chart and liked it :P :heehee: . Glad you like it!

03 - I agree, but I do like Should've Known Better too. I had no hopes for Overflow getting through to the superfinal, let alone win DMGP. I'm not sure why the Danes object to this sort of music - maybe the DQ DNQ has put them off pop altogether?!

04 - I got it too! As I said in another comment above, I think it sounds much better on vinyl, bizarrely!

25 - It would be awesome, but I think it's too much to ask - Norway are like Denmark when it comes to this genre :(

29 - It would have been an interesting choice of entry, but like Ditte, I thought it would fall at the first hurdle.

40 - Sadly not, this is an electro group who are indeed also Spanish, but a whole lot better than the Pastora that's going to Eurovision. I've liked a number of tracks from them, Feel The Magic and Una Manana are two of their highlights!

43 - I do like it, but I am so happy they went with La La Love in the end! Call The Police would never have made it out of the semis.

50 - I know :drama: I don't know what happened here, maybe I heard it once and was in a bad mood that day or something :lol: . It came on in a pub I was in last week and I loved it :lol:

51 - Yeah, but sadly it's my least favourite single of theirs to date :(

54 - I do! I find it more quirky and folky, whereas the original is a bit too twee for me.

02 - They did, and I completely agree! Although I dread to think of how awful next year's contest would be if they were hosting. Their NFs are always technically flawed!

03 - I agree, at least it exists! I hadn't built up any hope of Denmark chosing it - they won't touch pure pop again after DQ's placing in 2007.

17 - Don't worry, I still love it! It's just the Eurovision rush that's caused it to drop!

25 - I prefer Red Hot, but it would be great to see Sailors in Eurovision!

42 - I like the studio version, but the live performance was severely lacking something - he didn't have much stage presence at all!

44 - It is pretty good, but I'm not feeling it as much as other people seem to be!

54 - I much prefer this to the original actually, it's more folky than twee, and I like that!
