Scar, Not Eazy, Hell No and Too Nasty were my Studio 1 cuts of choice. All very light and breezy and inconsequential but slickly produced and they can always be relied on to bring the vocals.

'One Me & U' was the one song I really hated on that album, to be honest. :puke2:

These are the best aside from the singles, I think if it were a successful era 'On And On' would've made an excellent hit single for them.

I still think had they released 'On and On' as the second single and then the album, it would have been a successful era. 'On and On' is very reminiscent of 'Pure Shores' and 'Black Coffee' and would have led to their old fans jumping back on board for the release of Studio 1. 'Rock Steady' and 'Chick Fit' weren't quite the All Saints everyone was used to, and they weren't album selling singles either...

I've just discovered Dreams. What a stunning song. Should definitely have been a single.
Re-addicted to Pure Shores now thanks to this thread. Such a classic.

All Saints had some fantastic songs out. My favourites included "pure shores", "black coffee" and "never ever". They were certainly a lot more credible sounding than the Spice Girls but unfortunately the material on their albums were inconsistent.

WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR 'BOOTIE CALL'? Absolutely amazing song which has grown on me so much more since its release.

top five:

1. Pure Shores

2. Bootie Call

3. Black Coffee

4. Never Ever

5. Rock Steady

Bootie Call is a 'good' song at best. Certainly not a match for the three superb songs you have below it r Case.
