I can't see how Lana won't make #1 next week. As others have mentioned, 30k will be enough for #1 album next week. However, because of the buzz that has built up surrounding Lana, I've gone for 60-80k.

BTW, I just received my copy of the album this morning from Amazon! :)

Will wait until Monday to rip it though, as there's no track information for it yet on Roxio RecordNow, and I can't be bothered typing it in myself. :P

I think it will get #1 easily, as lets be honest, thats not hard just now. Can only see it selling 55k first week though at the most.

I was looking forward to the album so much, but it all just sounds exactly the same for me.

I think #1 obviously, but only 30k - 40k - I think she's being overestimated on here after the non top-10 (iTunes) showing of BTD single :)
Number 1 for both, and 50-60k.

Pretty much this. Which goon put under 20k?

Pretty much got the #1 album in the bag 40k to 60k, mind you all she needs 25k to get a #1 album

Though with sales as they are ATM, even that might be enough for #1...

You say that like it's a *bad* thing...

Most certain #1 album since Florence + The Machine's Ceremonials IMO (Bublé and Amy were also quite obvious #1s, but the former only opening at #3 didn't seem to bode well and there was quite a lot of uncertainty about the latte on this forum).

Sales of about 60-80k and I think it will sell quite consistently.

Want: #1 Think: #1 Sales: 40k-60k, although I'd love for it to do over 60k. Love the singles released from it, and I'm really looking foward to hearing the whole album! :D
this really won't look great if this doesn't go to number 1 as it would be beaten by a 2011 album and 30k would secure an easy chart topper these days, I can't see anyway this wouldn't get there atm - even if it is just 40/50k

31 of 37 think it'll be #1 - I doubt if even Adele's '21' got *that* approval level.

Either we're all raving Lana fans, or more realistically, realists due to the likely ultra-low sales levels for everything else... ;)

Clearly the latter considering there are more votes for #1 in the 'think' poll than the 'want' poll...

Think: #2-3

Want: #1 (just to finally get a new #1 album of the year)

Sales: 40-60k - hard to tell though, the hype around her has building unnecessarily, just depends whether the UK lap it up

IMO her cover picture for the album is most unflattering - makes her look like a mormon.

I've just seen on the new release schedule that Green Day have an album out.

OK, they are not the force they once were, and it is just a live album, but with overall sales so low, they must be the biggest threat to Lana...
