Gabi Tóth - Nem kell végszó (televotes)

A shame for Annamari Dancs, but I'm glad Gabi got through!

It's all about Renata, Peter and Sophistic in the next semi!

I'm rooting for Linda Kiraly in the next semi :D Anyway really like Gabi (although she is a bit intense) and Caramel is quite cute, if a bit OTT on the vocals. Compact Disco seems to be the fan fave, but I think it's a bit overrated.
Oh yes! I'd forgotten Linda! :drama: She's also one of my favourites. The next semi is definitely a lot stronger than the first one.

From the second semi final these songs made into the final:

Tibor Gyurcsík - Back In Place

Nika (Mónika Veres) - This Love

Király's (Linda, Viktor and Ben) - Untried

with televotes:

Juli Fábián & Zoohacker - Like A Child

Great to see Untried and Like A Child make it through, two of only five songs that I liked from the final 20!
Oh, I thought Like A Child went out last week! Good to see that through then. Such a shame Renata didn't qualify though, I really liked her entry!

Glad to see Kiraly's through, despite the punctuation fail

Hang on, it's co-written by Pras Michel? :o What next, Wyclef Jean for Romania?

Yeah it was funny and confusing at once when a member of the jury asked the crowd to shout the Királys' or Juli's name to find out who will be the 3rd. For a moment I felt ashame to be Hungarian.

Btw this song was made for a film and here's the original line up:

oh and Linda was really scary with those odd expressions on her face

Compact Disco have just won our national final so they will represent Hungary in Baku at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest :cheer:

Musically, AMAZING.

Although he should work on his vocals, and it will be alright.

Not sure what to make of it really. I can't see Hungary making the final this year to be honest.

I was excited about the semis and finals but to send Compact Disco is a letdown :(

They do good music but not for Eurovision. If it makes the Eurovision final, it will flop and be amongst the last ones. But I think it will fail in the semis.

Gabi Toth, Caramel or Monika Veress could have been a better choice imo. Maybe the Kiralys but their music is too American.

I think Compact Disco is good but probably too subtle and/or too rock to do well in Eurovision. The Kiraly's song reminded me a lot of my favourite Macedonian entry Let Me Love You which flopped in 2008. Actually the "let's go, let's go, let's go" part is nearly identical :o
Toth Gabi should have won. After having such a great entry like What About My Dreams, Sound of our Hearts just does not sound good to me.

The official video for our entry will be premiered on this Sunday on the national tv.

A good pop song with an interesting text.

I feel that the voice of the singer Csaba Walkó is rather weak and a bit fragile. Like it is going to break. He is also pitching a lot.

The studio recording is good, but the live performance is a pain in the end.

So, it all depends on Csaba Walkó to deliver on stage in Baku.
