Hate Sharapova. Bitch should learn to stop screaming like a f***ing banshee every match.

Why should she if there's no rules against it?

Rosol played fantastically, I was sure he was going to choke at the end. Still, I think he'll go out in the next round, but would be nice if he could get a good run going. He won't be ranked #100 for much longer I can't imagine. Watson was outclassed today, Radwasnka was just too good. Still, she is only 20 and can improve, but I doubt she will ever really trouble the second week at a Major.

There SHOULD be a rule against it. I actually can't watch either her or Azarenka play as I find the noises they make tiresome and pathetic.

A final of those two would be horrendous.

I did read on tennisforum that the WTA may enforce new rules targeting up and coming players so that coaches don't teach the grunting. Sharapova herself said it would be a good idea but the grunting is something that she was taught and that you can't exactly ask her to just stop after she's been doing it for nearly 20 years, so that targeting a new generation of players is a good idea. I quite like that thought as well.

Well hopefully Clijsters will win.
Rosol out already after the amazing Nadal defeat :o

Not much of a shock. It was a fluke performance and he'll have been exhausted after it.

I second this! I'd die to see Clijsters in a Wimbledon final given that this is her last one before retirement. She's been playing well but I won't get my hopes up.

same :cheer: also that would mean she would put out Sharapova in the QFs which is a bonus :D

also supporting Tamira Paszek after her amazing match against Wozniaki and my personal favourite Maria Kirilenko

on the mens side Andy Murray and Brian Baker ^_^

Kvitova is my pick she really strikes the ball brilliantly on grass. Serena would be my pick but I think age is against her.Kvitty Pova final is my feeling.

Hope Murray can win it pls this year.Other than Murray Id like Del Potro 2 win.

Sharapova and Clijsters both out. No dream QF :(

Lisicki played out of her mind today and Maria must have taken a leaf out of Serena's book on how not to return. Unfortunately for her she doesn't have Serena's serve to counter-act her poor returning, which is usually her biggest weapon. I think it is clear from this that grass is now Maria's worst surface. She seems to able to get very little rhythm and facing a ball basher on their day (Lisicki, Serena, Kvitova), she just can't compete with them.

Kerber today reminded me of Petrova in the AO 2010 when she beat Kim dropping just one game. She aswell played out her mind and sort of reminds me of Kim when she was at her best - counter punching at its peak.

So, sad Maria lost but at least we still get a Kvitova-Serena QF. The winner of that should take the title. I also want to see Kerber in the final (even if it is just to stop Radwanska getting there.)

Oh and I also think Vika takes the number one ranking back if she beats Ivanovic today.

Pleased for Serena! I've only got into tennis this year, but she's superb! I'm hoping she wins, although I've not seen any of her competition.

Of the mens' matches I've seen, Djokovic was very good again a not-very-good competitor last night and Murray was also very good today/yesterday.

Serena's serve is immense. I think she has got it this year. I hope they put Murray on centre the forecast doesnt look great.
So I'm watching Lisicki vs. Kerber right now and tearing my hair out. I love Sabine and I've been waiting so long for her to make the step up to be a world class player but it's just not happening. Kerber is quite dominant right now.

Serena had a very decent match today, but thus far this year she hasn't been playing great and I wouldn't fancy her chances against Kerber, Azarenka or Radwanska. We shall see.

What? She'd destroy all three of them :D None of them will be able to hit through her. Especially not on grass

So pleased for Lisicki grasping it back there, brilliant match. I'm still not holding my breath for her to win the third, but that's a good amount of excitement for me anyway.
