May 25, 201213 yr What were Amaury's odds this time last year? And Safura's the year before? I've learnt not to trust these bookmakers! I do still find it interesting seeing how the odds change though... 2011 WOT LMAO Final odds from William Hill 5/8 France 11/4 Ireland 10/1 United Kingdom 12/1 Azerbaijan 12/1 Denmark 14/1 Estonia 16/1 Bosnia Herzegovina 16/1 Sweden 20/1 Finland 20/1 Germany 22/1 Hungary 25/1 Austria 50/1 Russia 50/1 Iceland 66/1 Georgia 80/1 Serbia 80/1 Slovenia 100/1 Switzerland 100/1 Greece 100/1 Ukraine 100/1 Romania 125/1 Italy 150/1 Lithuania 150/1 Spain 150/1 Moldova I do think that's a little long for the UK at 10/1...Hungary have really dropped down since getting drawn in 5th as well. Bearing in mind that Ireland probably/hopefully won't do that well (although a part of me feels that this is the exposure they needed to become huge European personalities as well as UK/Ireland :o), France are looking at a landslide here. But then the crowd seemed to favour the UK more...Saturday will be interesting, but I'm still seeing a France win with the UK 2nd/3rd. I'd like to see Austria do better than mid-table, but at least she's qualified :D 2010 Latest Betfair Odds after running order draw has been completed: Azerbaijan 11/4 Fav Germany 7/2 Armenia 6/1 Israel 11/1 Turkey 16/1 Denmark 18/1 Greece 28/1 Belgium 33/1 Ireland 50/1 Georgia 50/1 Iceland 50/1 Romania 50/1 Norway 60/1 Serbia 80/1 France 100/1 Ukraine 100/1 Spain 125/1 Cyprus 125/1 Albania 150/1 Russia 150/1 Moldova 250/1 Portugal 300/1 United Kingdom 400/1 Belarus 500/1 Bosnia and Herzegovina 600/1 I'm suddenly not so sure about the Swedish win  Edited May 25, 201213 yr by Caïn
May 25, 201213 yr I kept the faith in Lena! Sognu doing SO badly really was strange but Euphoria's far more commercial and already smashing across Europe, I don't see them as comparable situations personally.
May 25, 201213 yr Lena was favourite along with Azerbaijan for most of the season and I think favourite on the day itself. God knows why Safura would've stayed favourite after drawing first, normally the betting markets react quite quickly to the draw...
May 25, 201213 yr Tell me about it, I haven't bothered betting this year, but I was going to put a fiver each-way on Ukraine, it's just not worth it now. I'll just sit back, play drinking games, eat international cuisine and be happy for whoever wins (except Russia).
