It looked ugly only having a list of songs!

I haven't heard Espen's entry yet, but I imagine it will be wonderful.

... after debuting at 9th place (which is higher than GD Hit Parade peak for Tooji :D ) a month ago. Don't forget that!

I was surprised you went down the copy/paste route in the first place :D

Oh, it IS - two weeks in my top ten  I've been waiting for the song to leak in studio form since November, it's by a girl from Swedish Idol - she sung it live one week on the show.

Tooji is climbing slowly but surely up my chart, at least I never started to get bored of it like you :D

Thanks Ghosty!

3. I'm pleased to hear that! Every time I think I'm getting bored of it I just listen to it and realise that I'm not

5. Yes indeed, it's my favourite entry of yours to date I think, I'd love to see it top ten but I agree that it probably won't have enough crossover appeal to get there. Had you sent it 20 contests ago when the range and tastes of voters were more diverse it would have eased into the top ten but the majority of the voters now live off a diet of generic/MOR female pop

6. Oh dear, that bad! I guess it's more or less my joint favourite finalist along with Stay but I'd prefer to see Tooji go to Eurovision, purely because he'd have a great chance, whereas Plumbo would have a great chance...of not qualifying for the final :drama:

16. It's bizarre isn't it...it's the sort of thing that would have done well in 2000 - faceless random pop cover version of an old classic  I do really like it though but I'm bemused at its success, I wish radio would pick up more random European pop songs, I'm certain that there'd be a market for it in the current chart climate.

27. I'm gutted that it did, it would have got at least 6 points from me in the final! I guess I can see why it would be an acquired taste though...

33. It's fantastic, will post a big climb in my next chart. It might be a bit too 'folky' to go any higher than low top ten but I'd love it to be a realistic contender!

37. I've liked all of their entries since 2007 now, they're on a great - and diverse - run of form, I just wish that their results were a bit better. They send strong songs and fail year after year so no doubt this will go the same way :(

05 - Cool! I can't remember an entry of mine peaking as high as this on your chart, I'm thinking maybe Bermudaz or Rebekka Karijord came closest?

06 - Plumbo would be a hilarious DNQ though :kink: . Fingers crossed Norway see sense!

16 - I agree, I mean Loreen alone could achieve three future UK #1s. If only she was given a chance! Katzenjammer could follow in Gotye's footsteps, The Storm could be the next Evanescence... then there's Eric Saade, Danny, Akcent, SoSo and Agnes' recent single too. So much potential!

33 - Well Ein did well and then grew on people more post-contest too, so maybe a wider selection of participants will be willing to support the similar sounding track from Nightwish? :o

37 - Well I hated last year's entry, but I have liked all the other entries since 2007 also. 2002, 2003 and 2005 were pretty good too I thought!

5. They certainly both charted, neither went top 20 though, this is by far the highest!

6. It would certainly bruise their egos

16. I certainly think that Euphoria could be a UK #1, the other two singles are a little more dated sounding so I'm not sure...agree about most of those, it's a real shame that UK radio will only support dance from these countries, and even then barely. There's a glimmer of hope that I could imagine Loreen being marketed as a dance artist and picked up by AATW, certainly if she did somehow get through to Eurovision a la Eric Saade who at least gets some TV support in the UK.

33. Hopefully so, I'd love to see it in the top ten or higher!

37. I loved it, it was a #4 in my chart  I really liked 2004's too actually, it was really melodic. 2006's was their recent worse, little melody and a dire performance.

16 - Hmm, well I hope if AATW do pick her up they'll promote her correctly. Euphoria, if it gets released here, simply has to equal the success of Release Me. It'll be interesting to see if Hotter Than Fire does well here or not.

37 - I liked the 2006 entry, but it certainly wasn't amongst the better entries of that year.

16. I'm thinking not for Hotter Than Fire, it's a decent pop song but limited video play and no airplay will get him nowhere. Problem is, even if AATW DID somehow make Euphoria as big as Release Me, you just know that that would be it, she'd be a one hit wonder - they simply don't know what to do with artists after their one big hit :drama:
