I think that's a fantastic debut single! It sounds current but not really similar to anything else out there and there's a real lack of slick male pop at the minute. All of the Ushers and Enriques are doing cheap electropop. I don't have an opinion on him as a popstar yet but it's a good song. (And he's proper cute!)

 

I found that it got better as it progressed. The first verse was rather weak, but I thought the chorus was quite strong. Definitely a lot more widespread appeal than Justin Bieber (who he's dubbed to be the latest British equivilent of) anyway.

I really don't like it on first listen. The hook is OK but could be stronger. His vocals are fine too. I think it's the instrumental that I really don't like and it really lets the whole thing down. Can't see it doing much.

It's awful, the production is crap and it sounds like something we've heard a thousand times before and often much better.

How shit. Sounds so incredibly desperate to be current with throwaway Cataracs production.

Decent enough, I think this will be a grower. The chorus is strong enough, just a shame about the verses which could be better.

It's pretty good, as Jark said it should be generic but it's not. I think he'll only be about as successful as Frankmusik though, if that...

I've seen it at least five times on the music channels today, It was a contender to be my BJSC song this month aswell.

I am liking this a lot, the production may be very Cataracs rip off but it suits the song and the melody is reasonably strong. The lyrics are rather cringy though.

I am in LOVE! His cover of E.T too is amazing!

I'm liking this (kind of). It's VIP track of the week on 4Music.

Liking this on first listen. It definitely gets better as the song goes on. I also get the sounds like Justin Timberlake comparisons that seem to be on the video's YT page. Hopefully it grows on me as I can see myself liking it a lot more than I do at the moment.

This has only just clicked with me. :P It's pretty generic, but it's still quite good. I'm surprised I didn't like it earlier, what with me being fans of Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance. :P

Been in my Top 10 for what is soon to be 7 weeks, LOVE IT. :kink:

I like the song and he has a very good voice but I don't buy into him as an artist.

I think this is far more slick than anything Justin Bieber's done imo, this does sound very Justin Timberlake and I'm surprised how much I like it on first listen! I do agree it does tend to get better as it goes along

I love this single. It's really nice, and a fantastic debut for such a young artist. I hope he gets the same, if not better break that Jessie J did, from the same label. :)
