February 24, 201213 yr 5. Waterline Lipstick was a LOT stronger. Still, this is clearly the best of the bunch and must unsurprisingly win. The strings!!! Can't wait for Jedward to have their "serious Pop" fase though. HAHA
February 24, 201213 yr Great backing singers! In fairness, I like this a LOT more than Lipstick, so wouldn't be that peeved if Ireland send it. It's my second favourite in this NF - ranking after the live performances; 1. Here I Am 9.5/10 2. Waterline 9/10 3. Mercy 8/10 4. Mistaken 7/10 5. Language Of Love 5/10
February 24, 201213 yr SO MUCH BETTER than Lipstick, and Jedward were easily the best of the night - never thought I'd say that! Go Jedward! :cheer:
February 24, 201213 yr A bit disappointed with Jedward's performance. It just didn't really grab me and felt more messy than usual. Given it's Jedward you forgive a LOT of messiness and such but this was just eh.......I think novelty is what Jedward do best. I prefer Lipstick.
February 24, 201213 yr To me it's: 1. Waterline 2. Here I Am >> 3. Mistaken 4. Mercy > 5. The Language of Love
February 24, 201213 yr Lipstick is a far better track than Waterline, but Waterline is comfortably the best song tonight.
February 24, 201213 yr I think I'd rank them: 1. Here I Am --- 2. Mistaken 3. Waterline 4. Mercy --- 5. Language of Love Frankly Waterline, Mercy and Language of Love are all pretty poor. (LoL in particular) The chorus of Mistaken is nice and the song overall is nice to listen to but it has no hope of getting anywhere. (I did use "nice" for a reason) I would be a bit worried that waterline won't have the same spark Lipstick did at eurovision. The only song I want going anywhere near eurovision is Here I Am, all or nothing. :P Edited February 24, 201213 yr by Sabrewulf
February 24, 201213 yr I like Waterline but I personally like Lipstick more. I can't deny they had better songs in their album though maybe that's why I felt disappointed when I heard Waterline. I expected them to have a better and a much more stronger entry for Eurovision 2012. Anyway, considering the quality of the National Final songs tonight, the one stands the best chance to win the National Final is Waterline, which is a good thing me thinks. February 24, 201213 yr They really need to stop having these national finals where there is this one insanely stand out artist that is OBVIOUSLY going to win with a bazillion points.
February 24, 201213 yr I just voted for Jedward. :D Didn't know you could vote from outside Ireland but someone posted the number on Twitter and it seems to have worked.
February 24, 201213 yr To me it's: 1. Waterline 2. Mistaken 3. Here I Am 4. Mercy 5. Language of Love
February 24, 201213 yr As people from United Kingdom are also able to vote, I feel like Jedward - Waterline already has the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 - Baku ticket.
