Silent Valentine

 

 

Thanks very much for this Sunday, I went straight to bed after rewatching once last night after the show so have just watched yours properly now with headphones. :wub:

 

Apart from how good he sounded and looked, I really enjoyed the way he performed it, much more like he does on stage with more movement. :cheer: I noticed the slight change in words at the beginning so was hunting for the lyrics before I went to bed to see why he may have dropped the others! ( it was the part about knowing he'd never be good for the other person and keeping quiet never giving up all the truth)

 

Very pleased to see the moves up the various music sites charts, and good viewing figures. I bet the repeats and iplayer figures are good too.

My silent Valentine

 

Will Young singing Silent Valentine on Graham Norton, February 10, 2012. He's the master of the heartbreak ballad, isn't he? It's safe to say that Valentine's Day can often seem like a cruel, pointless holiday. Regardless, this performance is flawless, especially the middle eight at 2:08. The only thing missing is the shower of paper hearts that rained down on Will at the end of the live version I saw in London this fall.

 

Will's new single, Losing Myself, is one of my favorites on Echoes. Watch this space for the new video on Monday. If you don't already have that album, give yourself - ain't nobody else gonna do it! - a valentine and get it. Even if you live in America and have to order the "old fashioned" CD (the artwork is vare vare good!). It was my favorite of 2011.
