And arent there some cruel jokes, going around. The sort of thing that really is sick...Have a bit of consideration. I mean these poor stars, really put themselves through it & we thought it was hard working in Retail. It certainly makes you think, that the easy life is better. Meanwhile, Whitney has 13 songs in the top 75 today & 4 more just outside. 12 in the top 60, 8 in the top 50, 6 in the top 40, 4 in the top 30, & 2 in the top 20. February 13, 201213 yr Shocked that 1D have catapulted into the top 10, but they won't last there officially on Sunday i don't think
February 13, 201213 yr Yes, I agree with your point that it is sad that people don't acknowledge the great work of an artist once they've passed away. I do hope that Whitney increases further in the week to rank top 10 twice.
February 13, 201213 yr I think Emeli's album will be #1 personally, I don't think there is enough old stock of the Ultimate Collection and Greatest Hits around, against a new album from Emeli Sande, its going to be heavily stocked in Supermarkets, plus its half term. Whitneys' albums are more likely to end up at #4 and #5 with Lana at #3 or #2 depends where Gotye ends up. Also Adele's [21] album might push Whitney further down after her 6 Grammy's wins.
February 13, 201213 yr Hoping that Gotye can hold onto top 5 in the albums and can increase his single sales again. Adele's sales should go back up with the Grammy effect and anticipation of the Brits, which should also push Foo Fighters back into the top 40. Noel Gallagher's tour starts tonight (I'm going :w00t:) so he could see a small revival as well.
February 13, 201213 yr You won't catch me saying this very often, but I would actually like to see One Direction make the top 10. I love that song atm.
February 13, 201213 yr "Next To Me" will be probably the next Uk No.1!! She is second in i-tunes and she has another version very close to the top 10. It's very nice song. I like "Hot Right Now" too. It's not bad..
February 14, 201213 yr I like Emeli Sande, even bought tickets to see her soon, but Next To Me is a seriously duffer of a single.... MOR-tastic..... and from what I've heard of the album, after 2 plays through it, it's more of the same. Perhaps she gave the strongest songs she had to other people because, bar Heaven (which, let's be honest, is a remake of Massive Attack's classic Unfinished Sympathy), she really doesn't have that many great tracks of her own, on her album, at all. Deeply disappointing.
February 14, 201213 yr 1D in the Top 10! :o Let's hope they manage to stay there, but not sure they will...

February 14, 201213 yr surely it can't be that close between DJ Fresh and Emeli? :o DJ Fresh had a pretty massive headstart and still has a comfortable enough lead over Emeli

February 15, 201213 yr surely it can't be that close between DJ Fresh and Emeli? :o DJ Fresh had a pretty massive headstart and still has a comfortable enough lead over Emeli True, but Emeli has a second version of the song (cherrypicked from the album) in the top 10 of iTunes!
