Rihanna and Calvin Harris’ have just been given another reason to celebrate this Valentine’s Day - the Official Charts Company can reveal that their 2011 single, We Found Love, has now broken the 1 million sales barrier.

 

Despite being released on a Wednesday, We Found Love debuted at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart on October 9, 2011, and sold 87,500 in its first four days on sale. We Found Love stayed at the top of the Official Singles Chart for a further two weeks before being knocked off the top spot by Professor Green and Emeli Sande’s Read All About It.

 

We Found Love then returned to Number 1 on November 13 for another three week run, and became the fifth biggest selling single of 2011.
